Mark, the owner, came to my house as scheduled. The man is pure genius. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it. He even repaired a problem my wife's computer was having. He was very professional and his charges were very reasonable. I would highly recommend him for all computer repairs.

The screen on my laptop started going wonky, it was only clear in one position.  I had used 818pc service once before to do some upgrades.  I called Mark/818-pcservice and was able to take my laptop over a couple of days later.  He said it was most likely a bad cable and was able to fix it as soon as he got the part.  I mentioned to Mark that I was also having trouble with my PC setup at home, things were very slow and I couldn't get wifi in my living room.  I had already had Time Warner out to check on the connection and they said it was fine, they couldn't do much else.  Mark suggested I get my own modem and router and when I did, he came and set it up.  It would have taken me forever to deal with time warner to set it up properly, but Mark had everything up and running in an hour and we've had great internet service ever since.  I highly recommend Mark/818-pc service.  What I like most is that he's accessible, and can be reached easily by phone as well as by internet.

He did an adequate job, but the problems came back a week later.  I felt as though this was a waste of the $100 that I paid for his services.
