Sierra Turf and Greens

Tim and Alex did an absolutely amazing job on about 800sqft of turf on 3 sides of our new pool. What I really like about Sierra Turf and Greens is that it is the level of trust because it is the owner Tim out there with Alex doing all the back breaking labor and the really take pride in their work. Alex came out a couple of days early to get a head start on prep work, great guy then both Tim and Alex did all the main installation while we gone visiting family. It was super nice to come back to a completely done and ready to use backyard that looked amazing. Tim was also super thoughtful to send photos of progress while we were gone, called a few times to ask us what we want to do in a couple of spots and gave us several options, had recommendations for us needing a small retaining wall since the neighbor’s property is about 8” higher than ours in the back corner. He even did a few extras for us at very, very fair prices like adding a small strip in the front by our driveway to replace the messy wood chips that were there, and even did some extra base prep for us for a retaining wall that we are going to DIY in the fall. Worth every penny! I really don’t know why people say turf gets super hot. I grew up on a beach and beach sand gets way hotter, even the concrete deck around the pool is super hot. We walk bare foot on the turf in the high sun all the time. We love seeing the green of turf without having to mow it or fix broken sprinklers. And our kids play soccer on it all the time. Really, can’t be happier with the way the job turned out. The best complement that I can give is that we plan to use Tim and Alex again when we have more budget for our front yard next spring and I have referred them to our neighbors.

Great experience. Easy to work with. Project started with a simple walk through, measurements, and an honest quote of what it would take. Made it happen in a timely manner that fit the budget. Did an outstanding job on the yard and the family loves it. Would highly recommend working with them.

These guys were great. I had experienced multiple rejections from other companies because "your job isn't big enough". Sierra came through for us. They were easy work with, they even did the dig out prep and turf install while we were out of town. The installation looks wonderful. Looking forward to working with Sierra Turf when the plans for the front yard get finalized.

I highly recommend Sierra Turf and Greens. Tim, the owner, was very responsive in getting back to me, even though he was out of town, and after telling him what I wanted, gave me a quote. Within a few days he came out, measured and we scheduled a start date. The first 2 days were demo and prep. Alex worked non-stop in 98-100 degree heat! He did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with. Tim, Dave and Alex installed the turf on day 3 and it looks beautiful. Tim was very good at communicating with me throughout the entire process. The entire team was great to work with and they really care about their customers. Highly recommend!
