 + -1 moreA friend of mine recommended using support.com (I never heard of them) so I called them up (1-800-PC-Support) and they were able to fix my computer right away. The guy stayed on the phone and talked me through everything he was doing while he took over my computer to fix the problem. Everything is done remotely so I didn't have to leave home and better yet, I didn't have a stranger in my house. I ended up signing up for a subscription plan ($19.99/month) so if I run into any other problems with my computer, I can call them up and they'll fix it for free.
Description of Work: My computer had been acting up lately where it was running really slow and lagging every time I tried to open a new program or browser. It took forever to start up and I got this error message that popped up randomly. My technician fixed my problem in 30 minutes and I never even had to leave home (or let someone in my house). I had a TON of stuff running when I started up my computer that it slowed things down and I had a messed up driver that was causing the error messages. Techy talk to me, but all I know is the guy removed the unnecessary programs (mostly trial software and bundled programs I didn't use) and it fixed my computer... it's running like new again.
