Regina Plumbing is the most reliable and competent plumber we have ever used. They respond on time, and quickly if it seems like an emergency, and their plumbers are extremely experienced, efficient, and communicative (in other words they explain both the problem and the solution in terms you can understand). After years of calling other plumbing services that were hit or miss we are thrilled to know that Regina is always there when we need them!

It went great. Regina Plumbing's team was quick, professional, and responsive. They met all of their deadlines, and all of their work passed Redwood City inspections. They were very easy to work with. If I had a question I would call the office and get an answer back very quickly. It was easy to schedule them onto the jobsite. It was a total pleasure to have them as one of my contractors on a complete remodel of my rental duplex.

The person did a good job of finding the leak in our backyard and was careful about digging around our plants, etc, which was thoughtful. I think I was overcharged, however... almost 2 hours of work for what was probably only about 1 hour.

I had a slow running shower drain and a broken sump pump under my house.I phoned Regina Plumbing on September 12th. The phone was immediately answered by a secretary. When I explained the nature of my problems, I was turned over to Scott Regina. Scott was fully knowledgeable concerning the procedures in solving these problems. He arranged to have one of his plumbers out the next morning to fix the drain and install a new sump pump. The plumber was very polite, professional, and worked efficiently. The work was well-done and both problems were fixed. This is the type of professionalism one found in the day, and to find it still available here is a welcome surprise.

We chose Regina because they could do the job right away and for a price very close to two other bids we had from other companies. While the other bidders had told us it would be a tough job because of all the tight spaces they would have to work in, Steve was not troubled by the access issues. We had a good feeling about him from his confidence as well as his detailed explanations of what needed to be done and why. He seemed very well-organized, straightforward and competent. We chose well! The job was completed on-time, on-budget and it was hard to tell anyone had even been here---except that all the plumbing worked and we could once again use our shower. We have had Regina back to deal with another small job since and had the same very positive experience. We will use Regina whenever we have need for a plumber.

I called an Angie's star rated plummer who advised not to do anything because of the risk of breaking the old galvanized pipe sticking out of the wall above the kitchen sink and then having to turn off the water with the result that we would be totally without water. I paid the plumber's fee for coming out. (Our house was owner-built in 1938, with the galvanized pipe buried in the concrete slab foundation. The pipe is deteriorating and we are saving up to have the house repiped.) By now the hot water was gushing out of the connection between pipe and faucet. Scott Regina was able to come out the same day that I called. He and his wife have been in business for 28 years and Scott's father had the business before that. Scott is very talented, has a lot of experience, and has the expertise to fashion creative solutions to unusual problems. We are very grateful that he was able to stop the flow and have the new faucet look very professional despite the fact that it had to be somewhat gerryrigged. Regina charges $125 per hour and there were some parts. We supplied the new wall-hung faucet. We highly recommend Scott Regina, especially if you need a non-standard solution.

Our Rheem water heater died recently, so i called Scott Regina on the recommendation of Heich supply, where we bought the unit in 2007. Scott replaced the unit under our 10-year warranty so that costs were limited to the time and materials of his two-man crew. Thanks to Scott, we were spared another round of cold showers and saved money. Before contacting Heich and Scott, we had called another company advertising 24/7 emergency service and got a quote for twice what Scott charged. To add insult to that injury, we were told that no one would come until the next day.

Contractor provided no advance notice when work would be done. Jacuzzi tub initially installed without metal support legs on sub-floor. Contractor's employees told that tub had not been water tested and that support legs were not on sub-floor. Employee's proceeded with installation anyway using expandable insulation foam to "glue" middle of tub to sub-floor and mortar to secure front legs. When told by homeowner work was not acceptable, employee's quickly attempted to drive away. Homeowner contacted Reginia's office and explained that installation was not done correctly while standing in front of van to stop employees from leaving job site. Homeowner returned to bathroom and removed mortar. Next day, Marty returned with same two employees and installed tub correctly, level with legs on floor, filled with water, mortared in place. Also, Regina's rough plumbing for tub was backward, but corrected by different plumber.

The company gave an estimated time and was not there within the window. A call to the office resulted in a return call from the plumber who was on another job. He called again when en route. The work was performed quickly (turned out to be simple) and neatly. The price was probably about standard.
