Good work. Good price

Mr Lopez did a walkthrough and pointed out the loose fence posts and said they needed to be replaced. Gave us price options for 4x4 and 4x6 replacement posts. We went with the 4x6 since we felt they would be able to support the fence portions that were not replaced, and the 4x6 looks fine. When they took out the old fence posts (many of which were put in 3-4 years ago by another company) we could see that some were rotted through, and some of the 7' posts were sunk only 6" into the ground. So we are very glad we replaced them. In all they replaced 21 posts plus the 12' section of fence. The replaced fence and gate look great. Mr. Lopez' crew could replace most posts without going into the neighbors' yards, which was convenient. It took 2-3 days to repair all the fences , and the gate was installed later. He and his crew were polite and professional. There was a minor issue with the gate being too narrow (measuring issue), but they put in a shim to correct for that. It still looks great. We definitely recommend Lopez Fencing.

Jordan and his team done quality job on deck project. The team was always on time with all necessary equipment and tools, did work clean and quick with respect to out neighbors. Jordan came with some ideas which significantly improved the initial project. Will definitely hire the Jordan's team again.

Very well. Previous arbor builders did not use rot-proof posts. Lopez Fence dug up the posts and put in correct posts and the arbor was put back together like new.

Jordan and his team do great work.  I had to be persistent in getting his estimate as I think he was really busy.  He also doesn't do a written estimate like the other two Angie's List recommended companies.   However, he stuck to his verbal/handshake pricing regardless of whatever problems he may have encountered.  We had some communication problems when we had to be out-of-town on a weekend in which his team was on-site working.  Because our property is on a hill, I had wanted the fencing tiered so that the redwood horizontal fencing would be level with the patio.  When we arrived home on Monday, we found that he hadn't done that on the critical rear portion of the fence.  When I said that we didn't like the downward slant of the fence, he agreed to redo it.  This added an extra day to the job - but he wanted to make sure we were happy with how the fence looked.   When he and his team completed the deck, I asked about putting a wood lattice around the bottom of the deck to keep animals out.  He said he would take care of it.  When I mentioned that the last step down on the deck was twice the length of the previous 3 steps, he came back and added another step to match the other three.   We had previously hired someone to do a deck and fence design, so we had some original drawings that we were able to show him.  This helped immensely.   If you're doing anything complicated, be sure to have your ideas well-thought out so you can be certain of getting what you need.   I would hire Jordan and his crew again.  His pricing was quite a bit less than the other two Angie's List Fencing companies for the exact same project and he takes pride in his work.

Jordan did a great job. We had a wooden retaining wall that was buckling with all of the recent rain. We asked him to tear it down and repost/build another wall. He completed the job within the time frame and came in at the estimate.

The initial installation of the fence posts was not done well ( it appeared that little and in some posts no concrete was used) and the provider had to come and add cement to all the fence posts after the job was completed to stabilize the fence.  Jordan did come and fix the fence and repair some things damaged by his crew which we appreciated but the quality of the initial installation of the fence posts was poor.  Jordan did all that he could to make the job right once it became clear the fence was unstable but it would have been better if they'd done the extra work to install the fence correctly the first time.  One last note, make sure his team actually mixes the cement with water before pouring into the post holes.  Initially they just poured dry cement in the hole and then watered it with a garden hose.

Jordan gave me a price over the phone, after I texted him pictures of the two gates I needed fixed. He and a co-worker came when they said they would, replaced one redwood gate and fixed the other. It took half a day, and they cleaned up well. Both gates work great and look good, too. I am very pleased. I'd recommend him and I'd use him again.

Called several fence companies and the quotes were about $100-$200 more expensive then what Lopez quoted me and the other companies weren't available until end of June/early July (I called late May), he came by to the property the next day and told me he could have it done by the end of the week. The new fence looks great, and the craftsmanship is very good, I would highly recommend calling Jordan for your next fence job.
