L and R Transport

After my recent move, I needed to do some rearranging of several rugs and a few pieces of furniture.  I needed someone who knew how to handle furniture and wood floors without damaging them.  Larry and his co-worker did the job beautifully.  They were fully booked when I inquired, but managed to fit in this job to accommodate me.  1.  Larry responded quickly and clearly via email to my inquiry.2.  They are clearly professional movers, and have all the right equipment for the job.3.  They took extreme care with my furniture and floors.4.  They were easy to work with, with a focus on making me, the customer, satisfied.5.  Their fee was reasonable.6.  They showed up when they said they would.I highly recommend L & R for this type of job; I am fairly certain they can handle larger jobs equally as well.

Hard Larry and his helper move a pool table for me. Several things made the experience great,
1. He is available and responsive via email. That was invaluable in setting up a schedule that had to be coordinated between four different groups (me, him, destination, and roommates)
2. He showed up on time
3. He had adjusted his schedule to make things work optimally with recipient.
4. He was friendly, but focused on the task at hand.
5. He had all the right tools and clearly knew what he was doing.
6. He took care, wrapping things, etc., to protect finishes.
7. When things took longer then he expected he stuck with it and got it done.
8. On the other end, the recipients confirmed a similar positive experience.

They are excellent. Larry, the owner, was so nice. There were two of them and they were so nice. They were very courteous and on time. My mom loved them too because they had to get a bookcase up a set of stairs and they did it without any scratches. They were very neat and clean. The wine cellar had to go through a really narrow doorway and they got it through without a scratch. They charged $70 per hour and there were two movers. We gave them a tip because they were so nice. They wrapped all the furniture and they were fast. We thought they undercharged because they had to drive an hour away. They were totally accommodating to our schedule. At first he didn't have anything open but then he realized it was a short move so he moved us really quickly and then went to his other move.
