Elvis Hernandez is the owner of Hernandez plumbing. I had 3 bathrooms remodeled by Rojas Construction Company who sub-contracted the plumbing work to Elvis. On the first bathroom shower, I gave him the instructions, but he didn't read them. He installed a new Kohler shower valve too far forward in the wall. I pointed it out to him and he had to re-plumb the hot and cold copper pipes in order to re-set the valve farther back in the wall. On the next bathroom shower, he was cutting the Kohler valve stem and also the stem cover because he was having problems attaching the shower handles to the valve stem. This was a standard installation so he shouldn’t have to modify anything. On the 3rd bathroom remodel, he send a junior plumber & helper to do all the plumbing with very little supervising. The job was a mess. In one place the junior plumber had to run a copper water line about 2 feet from point A to B. He soldered 11 joints to get from point A to B. When Elvis stopped by, I showed him the work and showed him how he could get from point A to B by only soldering 3 joints. I told him the more solder joints you have the more chance of a leak. I asked him to correct it. It would have taken him about 10 minutes to re-solder it, but he refused. Elvis's MO is to get the job and then bring helpers to do the work who aren't experienced with limited supervision
