Replaced breaker which was over 40 years old. Helped but tripped after two days. Came back and determined where in the house was the short. They used a combination of electronic and audible techniques to find the problem. Rewired around the problem area with a junction box.

They responded within an hour of the call on a Sunday, which was very impressive. They assessed the situation and did something with the electrical to make sure the refrigerator was working. They returned today exactly when they said they would and were able to fix the problem within a matter of hours.

It took some time to get on their schedule, of course it was a small job (replace 2 prong back-to-back outlets with 3 prongs).  Staff showed up on time and were very professional, polite.  Had used Foley in the past for at least one other electrical job.  What was bothersome about this was I had requested an estimate of the work to be performed.  I received an estimate in the 400 range.  The actual bill I got was close to 800 because permit costs were not included in the estimate and nothing verbal was ever conveyed to me regarding how much the permits would increase the cost.  Not a good business practice.  It's too bad because they are otherwise professional, but this was completely unprofessional.  Providers should be clear upfront about all costs involved (even if just a ballpark estimate for the permits was given, but nothing was ever even said about the permits).

We've used them several times and spent several hundred dollars in the last year or two. We are actually going to have them redo our electric panel in the spring. They have done work in our home and our small business. The last job was a challenging situation. They are great. They are helpful and friendly. They have referred me to other trades when I've needed somebody and those people were good. They do a good job and they leave the area neat and clean once they are done. They give good advice and they are professional.

The installation went well and quickly. When some supplies were needed Foley dispatched another assistant electrician with the supplies. They started to bend rigid conduit (pipe) for the surface mounting of the wires. I asked them to instead use metal raceway as it looks much better. They then went and got the necessary parts and completed the installation. They did a very good job quickly and efficiently.
The only negative comment is that the electrician should have suggested using the raceway rather than the unsightly rigid conduit rather than my having to stop them and suggesting the more aesthetic raceway.

They were so good. They were just excellent. I'd give them A's all the way across the board. The price was fair. For the work they did, it was definitely worth it.

Great.  After discussing the job on the phone, my expectations were set that it was probably going to take 2 hours or less.  Allen showed up on time the next morning.  Fixed the junction box.  Took great care to make sure nothing got scratched with the chain for the chandelier.  Wired everything up, and installed the chandelier.  After, he installed the dimmer switches for the room.  It took less than an hour, with enough time to talk with him about a couple more projects that I am considering.  I would definitely consider using Foley (and specifically Allen) again.

Tom came to my house and was very friendly and fixed all my electric issues.  My porch light wasn't working, which was a fairly new fixture.  I thought it has a short as I had to flip on the light switch many times and sometimes it would go on and sometimes it wouldn't.  It turned out it was a broken light bulb (I thought I had put in a new one not too long ago) and even though I was embarrassed about that, he did not make me feel really dumb.  I also had a problem with my dining room light (he replaced the dimmer switch) and the bathroom light fixture (a loose wire).  He did an excellent job and I was very satisfied with his work.  He is a young man with the professionalism of seasoned electrician.  I would also like to add that I am experiencing some knee problems and can't walk that well right now.  He very graciously took a case of water out of my car and put it in my garage which was not part of his job requirement, but extremely helpful to me.  I will definitely use Foley Electric again in the future for any electrical needs I may have.

This was a 4-day with 2 servicemen, Dan and John. These guys arrived everyday early, and worked diligently. At the end of each day, I received a call from their foreman to give an account of the progress of work. At the end of the job, these guys refused tip at the end of the job.  At the end of each day, they packed away tools and hauled debris. Very professional.
They handled some confusion about installing the breaker for the electric vehicle.  Initially, the foreman thought a 90A/240V was needed based on his previous work on Tesla Roadsters, but the Tesla Model S requires a 50A/240V.
The only real issue was the patch up work after the electrical panel was put in. Since Foley Electric does not do stucco work, this was an additional $1000 charge from the stuccu repair company. The Foley Etectric foreman was sympathetic to this charge and compensated me $500.

We called for two problems.  He made minimal attempt to diagnose both
and left without fixing or diagnosing either problem.  He seemed OK with
just making a minimum service charge and not actually fixing anything
We'll pay their bill but won't be using
them again.
They were able to come on short notice and arrived punctually

Great -- these guys know their stuff and are complete pros.  Talk to them directly so nothing gets lost in the translation through your contractor.  We worked with at last five of their electricians over a 7 month period and they were courteous, professional, responsive and always made an extra effort to clean up after themselves.  Even their relatively new 20 year old electrician who was supporting the team was a model service professional and clearly understood how to distinguish Foley Electric in a client service business.

Extremely positive experience.  Required running new conduit on the outside of the house to bring in a dedicated line.  All aspects of the project were managed extremely well: planning, project management, installation, cleanliness, timeliness.  It was a 2 day job and after the first day I noticed a conduit configuration on the outside of the house that was a bit unsightly.  They rerouted the conduit at no additional cost.

This was the first time I used him. He was very professional and polite, and he seemed committed to his work. The assistant he had with him seemed fine too. I think it was very expensive but I think every electrician would be the same.

They are excellent. The fellow that I worked with, Michael, gave me is email address and telephone number and if there were any questions he responded immediately. I got a few estimates and their price was good. I would definitely use them again.
