 + -1 moreI asked for a vertical grain clear fir floor to installed in our master bedroom. After half the floor was installed I checked to see how it was going and found knots everywhere. These installers could have easily cut out the knots prior to putting the floor down but just didn't. I made them take up the worst of the problems but the floor still ended up with too many. Fortunately, they are mostly in places where they aren't too visible. The quality of the wood they used was not very good. In retrospect I should have watched them at every step of the process.
Description of Work: Installed Doulgas fir floor in my upstairs bedroom.

 + -1 moreThey did an excellent job. Everything was great, actually could not have been better. I was very pleased and was glad because I was running into problems with everything that week and it just made everything, including my day, run a whole lot smoother.

 + -1 moreTHE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD, AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR. ALTHOUGH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS NOT EXCELLENT, BUT PRETTY GOOD. ON THE OTHER HAND, I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: I HAD HIRED THEM TO COME IN AND SAND AND FINISH MY HARDWOOD FLOORS IN ONE OF THE ROOMS OF MY HOUSE.
