Always prompt, courteous and honest. I doubt I'll ever use any other plumbing company.

They came on a few hours notice. My hot water heater of 25 plus years busted leaving water all over the garage. I called Windsor , they are in my neighborhood and I prefer to use local vendors. They came within 2 hours of my call assessed the situation and advised I neded a new hot water heater which I already knew this from my own online research. They estimated the cost with installation which matched my research. They called to have a new Rheem heater delivered, they had to move my washer dryer, unhook everything before they could lift the old heater out. Within 2-3 hours they had installed a new heater, hooked up my washer dryer and cleaned up the little mess. I will use them again for plumbing needs.

In general I have been satisfied with them as they are ok. There has been only one instance of dissatisfaction with them. They are competent, prompt and responsive. They try and schedule something as soon as I call them. I would use them again in the future.

For many years, I had an intermittent leak in the corner of a sliding glass door that repeatedly damaged my wood floor. We never saw any water coming in under the door. Instead, we saw the baseboard getting wet, then the floor, and then the drywall. Many times, I recaulked, replaced the drywall and baseboard only to have the problem reoccur. I was selling the house and wanted this problem fixed once and for all. I had two other plumbers spend hours examining the problem, tearing out drywall, using cameras and checking all possible water entrances and leaks -- without success. I had a general contractor caulk the sliding door, inspect the structure of the house -- without success. I had the sliding glass door company come out and they said the door was watertight and not the problem. The owner of the sliding glass door company told me to call Tim at Windsor One because he had done some work for her when her store flooded. She said he was good, reasonable, honest and helpful. I called Tim and he came out instantly! He listened to my story and examined the house. He quickly eliminated leaking appliances or hose bibs as causes because the leak didn't happen all the time. Looking at the outside stucco underneath the sliding door, Tim said it was "crumbly" and could possibly be taking in rain water during a heavy rain. He recommended that I use cement patch over the crumbly stucco and then test it. He also recommended that I use Drylock to waterproof the surrounding stucco and cement patch. After using the cement patch, it rained hard for two days and no water damage! We tested with a hose and the house was water tight. Then we added the Drylock and roof flashing just to be extra safe. Tim solved our problem in minutes and he didn't want any money for his efforts. Of course, we paid him something. A couple of weeks later, I used Tim again to fix a gas leak in the oven, the garbage disposal and various leaking sink and shower faucets. He did a great job! I strongly recommend Windsor One for plumbing. One caveat: I don't recommend their heating and air conditioning man (see separate review).

This company was a disaster from start to finish. I wasted a day and a half trying to work with them and ended up having to pay to stop payment on my check. On the day of the repair, I had to leave before they were finished and when I came home the whole house reeked of natural gas. I'm surprised my cats survived and consider it very lucky that no fire was started. I had to have the gas company come out twice to help. There were multiple leaks in the piping and valves Windsor had installed. Danny insisted on coming to see the job himself the next day and actually was asking the gas company how to fix the pipes his technician had installed. He promised to send someone else to fix the problem since I did not want the same technician to come back; an hour later I opened the door to the same guy and refused to let him in. The "new" thermostat was very old and obviously used, with paint still on it from some other home. I have no idea if the other parts they used were old as well. I wonder if my own parts were actually in better shape than the ones they installed. I ended up having to have another company come and completely replace my furnace since I did not feel safe that Windsor had any clue as to what they were doing. They should not be licensed to deal with highly flammable materials.

The dishwasher installation was not simple. They had to fix some electrical wiring and plumbing before the installation. The leaky toilet also was more complicated than I had hoped. I thought it was a bad wax ring, but the flange was broken and had to be replaced.

It went very well. I called at 9:15 am, and they came by 11 am. The cap for the clean out valve was stuck (aren't they always?), so he drilled that out. He cleaned the drain and was on his way by 11:45 am.

Plumber had no experience installing a spa tub. It took three (3) visits before it was correct.

Tim was very polite and was there when I expected him each time. He got the problem resolved relatively quickly. I was originally quoted $75 for the job, but given the amount of time it took, I believe $158 was fair. I recommended Tim to a neighbor and he came and fixed a problem for $80. Another company had quoted her $450 and wanted to dig a trench in their front yard!

TWO GUYS SPENT HALF THE NIGHT IN THE DARK, DIGGING IN A NARROW HOLE IN THE GROUND OVER THEIR HEAD, AND HAULED OUT THE WORST LOOKING AND SMELLING JUNK I HAD EVER SEEN. AND THEY SMILED THE WHOLE TIME. ONE EVEN CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO CLEAN UP!
