My mother had met Layla at an adoption fair, but Layla was so scared that she would not come out and meet anyone. Which prohibited her from finding a forever home. I was looking for a and quot;hypoalergenicand quot; dog and took Layla home. She is blossoming. I know that if this relationship did not work out she would always be welcome back to Dexter. Thankfully, she is fitting in just fine.

My father died recently and my mother has been alone for the fist time in 60 years. Nighttime is hardest, Dorthy is perfect for her. A tiny, totally trained dog who will not get underfoot. A total lap dog. Thank you so much for rescuing my mother.. Everyone now wants to visit to see the cute little dog. And Mom is now having a portion of her yard fixed up so Dorothy can be free to safely go outside. Thank you so much.

Many of my employees and friends have had a wonderful experience with The Dexter Foundation. Dr. Franco has a knack for picking the perfect dog for the perfect person. They do such wonderful work, always managng to rescue dogs on their last day horrible kill shelters.
