I had a leak from what I thought was a water line underneath the kitchen sink in an area I could not reach. I called the plumber I had used before. He arrived on time, neatly dressed, listened to me and then made his own assessment. He pulled the faucet out (we have a retractable faucet) tested the water pressure and removed the handle. He then replaced a wornout filter which resolved the problem. He explained to me why that little gasket caused such a problem.
