Redondo Glass

I had 4 screens to replace. I had to return three times because the screens do not fit despite the previous screen being provided for them to match not being made to the same size. Two screens did not fit because they not follow the measurements I provided. The staff is very argumentative trying to avoid a redo when their poor quality was clearly the problem. With persistence they would relent and make the fix without additional charge.

I had to come back to Redondo Glass on my last two jobs to have them redo their sloppy rescreen work. The last time I had to return 2 times for rework. I wish I had read the reviews first.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. I wish I read the reviews before hiring them. They do not want to be responsible for their very poor work and they are the meanest people in the business. From Sandy who works in the office to the installers, which includes the owner. When I complained about their work I got yelled at by Sandy and she hung up the phone on me. AVOID THEM! I just wasted $3,200 Below my list of issues: 1) Shower door not wide enough. Their response was that it was normal. Now I have a gap between the door and the panel which is not covered by the plastic seal. 2) Shower door would not stay straight. Whether it is too heavy for hinges or the installer did not tighten it enough. They came back to fix, but the problem came back immediately. Now they do not want to be back. That was the reason of my last called and I got yelled at and hung on before I could even explain the reason of my call. 3) Panel was not installed correctly. it is at least 1/2 an inch inclined to one side and also not straight on the floor. Thus, when closing the door, the gap increases as it goes down. 4) Installers work in a hurry and last time they did not want to correct their work because it was the end of the day. 5) One more point I would like to mention. The installers were completely high when they came to my house. the smell of marijuana was very obvious. 6) They never gave me a receipt. I hope the IRS read this.

Sandy explained that the piece of glass we brought in to be resized would have to be tested to see if it was tempered.  Turned out it was so she helped us with the measurements for a new piece.  It was the weekend so she said she would call Monday morning with a price.  She called early Monday morning with the price.  It seemed reasonable and we're happy with the result.

went very well overall.  they were about 1/2 hour late in arriving to provide the estimate (against their quoted time).  the technician was very helpful in discussing what options were available to me and what the respective costs were.  i gave a 50% deposit and was told the glass should be ready for installation in 2-3 days but it ended up taking 4 working days.  when the technicians came to install the glass, they did a very thorough job of removing all the old broken glass, including small shards, and carefully sealing the new glass w/adhesive to ensure a firm hold.  i paid my balance due and there were no surprise, hidden costs. all in all, a good experience and i would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to others.
