We used Penna Electrical to extend an outlet, install a new overhead light, install a sump pump at the base of our driveway, and inspect our electrical panels. Initially there was some confusion as to when the work would be performed. I assumed they would do a price estimate and the work on the same day. Instead the price estimate would be given on one day and the work would be done on another day. Normally this would not be a big deal. The problem was we needed the sump pump installed due to a predicted rain storm. Without the pump the garage would possibly flood.
Todd Penna came out to do the estimate and I explained to him my frustration. He did the price estimate for the work and tried installing the sump pump that day. This was unexpected and something he did not have to do. He worked on the sump pump for about an hour trying different solutions. We (Todd and I) decided the possible solutions we came up with were not the best solutions for various reasons. The best solution was to wait for one of his electricians to come out and take the time needed to install the sump pump the correct way.
Todd also showed me the problems with our circuit breakers and explained why the new style circuit breakers were better. However, he explained, they did not need to be replaced but we should consider it in the future.
A few days later, Todd?s electrician came out and did the work. At first I thought he did not extend the outlet because I did not see any dry wall dust or conduit. The electrician ran the line behind the wall and cleaned up the mess.
I was very impressed with Todd and his electrician. Everyone I spoke to was very accommodating and returned calls/messages promptly. I communicated Penna Electric using e-mail, cell phone, and text messages. We will certainly use them again for some other planned electrical work and we will definitely recommend him to neighbors and friends.

Jermin the lead staff electrician and his helper David arrived at our home at the designated time. They surveyed the job site and determined the best approach to completing the job and advised us the approximate time it would take to complete the work.( a day and a half) Once the job started they kept us informed as to the progress they were making. Upon completion of the work on the first day they cleaned up and advised what time they would return the next morning. The work was completed on schedule much to our satisfaction. The town inspector commented on the excellent job.

Todd gave us a very fair price and kept us in the loop as the job progressed. He has a very knowledgeable and friendly team of electricians that work for him. They did a professional job, courtesy patched all the holes, and cleaned up after themselves.
The job took a little longer than expected, but this was because Todd wanted things done properly...this even meant throwing in a few things for free that weren't part of the original quote.
Highly recommend!
