"(Member name removed), Thank you for the kind review. It was a pleasure meeting you. Sincerely, Jaime Sanders"
"[member name removed], first, thank you for your review. I appreciate the time and consideration. I'd like to explain the "Brake Fluid" issue. I know in the past, brake fluid was never changed unless a major part was replaced such as a caliper, master cylinder or a wheel cylinder. Along with those parts failing and requiring replacement was usually a brake failure or brake pedal going to the floor with limited stopping ability. What we have found over the years is that those brake failures and expensive part replacements can be avoided by "Servicing" the brake fluid. Or, in other words, replacing the brake fluid and flushing the complete hydraulic system. Brake fluid is "Hygroscopic" which means that it attracts and retains moisture. As the brake fluid retains moisture, it loses it's ability to lubricate the hydraulic system and that's where we start to see rubber seals break down and ultimatly cause failure. We can actually test brake fluid for copper content and boiling point to determine the level of deterioration in the fluid. The copper content rises as the fluid drags against the inner wall of the metal brake lines which contain copper. The boiling point is affected by the amount of moisture in the system. So, by using those two tests, we are able to determine that the fluid is not performing as designed and should be replaced to protect you from costly and dangerous breakdowns. I hope I have been able to convey the reasons why we recommend brake fluid replacement, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Scott Osborn (310) 698-5143"
They are not very ?customer satisfaction? driven, in my opinion because I never got my initial outlay of $200 back for the mis-diagnosis. I know they are in business to make money.... but really now!
