All of our staff schedule appointments, so we're not sure what that means. It's possible you reached our after-hours answering service (which also can make appointments) and spoke with a new, inexperienced operator. Either way, we apologize for the confusion. handyman did 2 projects and took the pieces to pick up parts to complete other 2 projects. He never called back or returned with the parts. We waited 1 month and called Handyman to see what was wrong, spoke with a rep who promised he would call back in an hour, never called back. Went on line to chat live, no help. Received a sales email about services and prices from our email request for help.
Although the work on the 2 projects that were completed were okay, I would never hire this company again because of their lack of follow through, expensive cost and terrible customer service on the phone and through email
"First, I'd like to apologize for the communications problems. We had a new staff member in our office who was training in the month of April, and he is no longer with us. We found he was intentionally not returning calls. His replacement is excellent, and we will be monitoring the situation to make sure this inexcusable event does not occur again. Second, we would like to offer you a free hour of our services for your trouble. We remember having trouble reaching you on your line, and we are trying again now, but please feel free to give us a call as well. We are terribly sorry for the hassle, and hope to make it up to you!"
A bit pricey but I'm presuming comparable to other Handyman services.
