Moore Protection

Very professional company. Quickly set up an appointment to check a problem with my system. Came on time. Figured out what the problem was and corrected it. I did a prior review for this company which was also excellent. This was just a service call.

Contacted Don Moore, who is the owner of the Company.  He is an expert in Home Security, with many years of experience in the home security industry.  Highly recommended by many of my neighbors.  I had an ADT system that was about 7 years old.  I wanted to convert the system over to Moore Protection for monitoring.  I also wanted to add cellular back-up to my current telephone land line monitoring. Don evaluated my system and told me I really didn't need to add anything, but quoted me a very fair price for the cell back-up equipment.  For the alarm conversion to his monitoring, there was a minimal charge.  Monthly monitoring charge was about a dollar more per month than I was paying ADT.  No pressure to sign any long term contracts.  Appointment was made and his service tech arrived right on time.  Checked out and tested the entire system.  Installed the new equipment.  I am very pleased with the work and feel more confident in dealing with a local business and it's owner.  No more calling a customer service department in another state.  I'm sure some security companies would have tried to sell me an entirely new system, and the multi-year monitoring contract that goes with it.  Glad I went with Moore Protection.  Excellent experience.

I liked them a lot.  I just found their installation fee to be a lot more expensive than some of the bigger companies.  It was too high for us.  Every time they called me back they said that they would see if they could bring the numbers down for me.  They were amicable in that regard, but we just decided to go with a security company that we had used before.

It was a great experience. I called and he said he would be out the next day, and he came out when he said he was going to. He accomodated my schedule and spent a long time looking at the house. He made good suggestions.
