Horrible. Started project on 4/15/14 and Steve ( general contractor)expected to complete project in 3 months. Said he wanted to start and complete closet so we would have a place for clothes. Started on bathroom. Said he would give me the name of a decorator- never did. But brought a sample of marble which he got from a decorator. Requested pictures of bathroom and kitchen designs which we gave him. He said designs were good for our setup. Steve had subcontractors do things that looked NOTHING like what we requested. Example: placed electrical outlets on glass tile wall. When questioned he said outlets could not be moved. I found "in drawer" outlets so wall outlets .were removed. Put new bath/shower fixtures in small bathroom. New drain was installed but did not plug so water did not stay in tub. When questioned Steve said he did not check the drain. On more than 1 occasion said he would be here at a certain time and then would arrive over 3 hours late without notification. My husband had to contact him. His excuse was he was at his daughters soccer game. Fine but let us know. Got upset because my husband called regarding marble that was placed around master bathtub. Marble had a crack. Explained situation to Steve and said fabricator needed to fix it. We were not frustrated by Steve's work, but the fabricator's. Steve became upset and quit. Project was not even half way complete when he quit towards end of July. Nice guy at first but UNPROFESSIONAL. Had locks changed as he did not return house key until I requested it. Said he "forgot." Obviously this project was too big. BEWARE of anyone who agrees to do everything you ask. It was great to hear at first but I would rather have honesty than this mess.
