• The job was finished quickly and efficiently and I was so pleased with Mr. Doerner's suggestions for painting the walls. He was very patient in helping me to select colors since I was going from all white walls to color.

He patched my walls and made sure they were smooth before painting.
I was really nervous about some of my paint selections, but Mr. Doerner assured me he would put samples on my walls to help me visualize how the rooms would look. That was very helpful.
In addition, he put back all my furniture and paid attention to small details like replacing switch plate covers. He did not paint around doorknobs or light fixtures but rather removed and then replaced them. This made for a much better paint job.
He is very courteous, exceptionally clean and his painting was perfect to my eye and I am very picky.
In addition, his estimate was accurate to the price charged and was all inclusive for materials and labor. I really appreciated this. I knew exactly how much the job would cost.

Gregor's work is unparalleled. I would never use anyone else to paint my home, inside or out. You rarely see this type of expert craftsmanship anymore. When it comes to painting, you get what you pay for and with Gregor, you will simply get the absolute best there is.

During consultation visit Gregor provided excellent guidance on my color choices. He uses Benjamin Moore Aura paints (higher priced but very high quality product) and my colors were correctly matched. Cost of paint included in service. Job took approx. 2-2 1/2 weeks. Gregor was patient and knowledgeable; his assertive yet friendly color recommendations kept me from making a mistake with my blue and yellow choices. When I spotted a minor issue with trim smudges in one small area, he immediately corrected it. My only surprise was when he didn't use a semi-gloss on the bathroom walls and they subsequently showed water streaking upon shower use (perhaps due to the medium blue/grey color). However, Gregor came back and repainted with the semi-gloss version, same color, with no problem/no issues. Gregor is a friendly, very trustworthy professional who provides a very good service. He does typically work alone or with one helper so the job may take longer than others quote and his price may be (only slightly) higher, but the security, professionalism and quality service are well worth his price.

I've hired Gregor for a number of painting projects. He's an excellent painter and also is very helpful with color selection. Very patient. I'd say his price is a little on the high side, but he's a true craftsman and I believe you get what you pay for with painting. The only downside with Gregor is since he normally works alone or perhaps with one helper, he's a little slower than a company with a lot of employees. But he gives you the personal touch.
