I had scheduled a service to steam clean our carpet for my condo in Redondo Beach from [*** Link removed ***] by calling number (310) 879-5498. In the morning on that day, Etay Waiman came to the condo. He was very rude and had an attitude. He told us that the charges will be more than twice we were quoted when we booked the appointment, plus $29 service fee (which his office said he should not charge), and sales tax (per my understanding California does not add sales tax for carpet cleaning service). He said he will only accept Zelle or Venmo and will give a receipt only after I pay him in full. As we had to clean the carpet that day, unfortunately I made a mistake of asking him to steam clean the carpet. He cleaned the carpet and I paid him via Zelle. I never got a receipt even after contacting him multiple times. In addition, after he left, we noticed that the carpet was wet in many places - with lots of water and soap. We were not able to dry out the carpet even on the next day after using towels, etc to soak up the water and soap in the carpet. I don’t generally do reviews but based upon my terrible experience - significant overcharge, rude person and poor quality job - I wanted to share my terrible experience with other customers looking for carpet cleaning service. I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
