They stopped doing business in the state of California, so I requested that they return my security deposit. It took them months to get the deposit back to me, and they continually told me that it had been lost in the mail. Ultimately, the deposit was returned after a lengthy period. They also neglected to tell my tenant that they would no longer be maintaining the property and left that task up to me. What's more is that it took them a long time to distribute my tenant's rent checks to me which was infuriating.

I really like the individual who will be managing the property. They came out to my house. Not everyone was willing to do that, which I thought was odd. They are local and located in the town that the house is in. I got good references from a couple people. I felt more comfortable with them. I got a tenant right away, and communication has been good. It's going really well.
