PARADISE CARPET CARE

We have been using Paradise Carpet Care for over ten years and always schedule a cleaning before Thanksgiving. When contacting the business, you leave a message for Harold Lerner, owner/operator; he has always returned my calls promptly and always accomodates my schedule. This year, he was already booked up for the holidays, but did me a favor and worked me in the next day. What a kind & pleasant man! Harold and his helpers are very conscientious and trustworthy, so I usually schedule them during our workday--they let themselves in and lock up after they finish. This visit, they arrived at 11:00 a.m. and were finished before 1:00 p.m. Note: the times I've been home during a cleaning, Harold arrives promptly, drives a tidy van, and uses obviously well-maintained equipment. He and his helper are always friendly and neatly-attired in Paradise Carpet Care polos. We used to have 2 dogs and Harold was very good with them--he would get on his knees to greet them with a good scrub behind the ears. This visit, our carpet was filthy. In between Harold's regular cleanings, I had used a home carpet cleaner that left a stubborn soapy residue--it was like velcro to dirt and dust, so it was riddled with dark spots, stains, and shoe marks, and the main traffic areas were a dark gray. Harold used an anti-foaming agent to remove all the residue and also performed his usual steam cleaning. Afterwards, he turned on the fan of the central air, cleaned up, and left the house like no one had been there. Except for the carpet--it looks, smells, and feels like new. All the visible marks are gone and the traffic areas are now the same color as the rest of the carpet. It's been 2 weeks since Harold did his magic; our house has seen a lot of heavy traffic since then (toddlers, dogs, stinky teenage boys) and it is still spot-free and fresh-smelling. As usual, we are beyond pleased with the results.
