Custom Tree Trimming Design

I called two other tree service companies, one which wanted to charge me for an estimate and could not come out until the following week  and one with no response.  I called Bill and he came out the next day.  After explaining I was new to California and did not know a lot about the plants here, he spent at least a half hour walking around the property and describing every plant and tree and how it could be pruned.  This guy knows landscaping!  He gave me a great estimate at no charge.  On the scheduled date, they were a little late due to traffic, but Bill called me twice ahead of time to let me know they were running late and when to expect them.  The team was professional, fast, and did a great job cleaning up the trimmings.  Bill warned me ahead of time that because our yard is only a pool, there was not other option but to drop the limbs and trimmings in the water.  This of course caused a mess of the pool and I was concerned they would leave it for me to clean up.  But, I looked out and saw Bill working to net out as much as he could, which was much appreciated! One final note, I had a shorter palm out front that I did request for trimming, but Bill noticed there were two limbs touching the house and had one of the guys trim them off at no extra charge.  Will definitely use this company again next year and recommend to anyone who wants great customer service at an affordable price.

The job was completed on time and at a reasonable price.  All trimmings were hauled away.  Our first experience with Custom Tree Trimming.  Highly recommended. Will not hesitate to use this company again.

Our large mulberry tree in the backyard had only been trimmed once in 10 years and that trimming was done wrong with branches growing all over the place with no even shape to the tree. Limbs were hanging over the roof causing potential hazard.The tree needed some serious corrective pruning. It gives great shade to the house in the summer and we wanted to make sure it was pruned correctly and thoroughly this time to make sure it will stay healthy for years to come. The other tree is in the front yard and a large, rotten limb was hanging over the road creating a potential hazard. It also has not had any good pruning in years. We called three members of Angies list for an estimate. Custom tree trimming Design ended up being the most expensive (even after the Angies list discount) but both my husband and I felt that after talking with Bill (the owner) at length, he would be able to do the best job. We were not disappointed. The original estimate was a bit too high for us but we were able to agree on an amount that worked for both of us. On the appointed day he arrived with a big ladder truck, wood chipper and six experienced tree trimmers. He was here to supervise and get them started. They worked tirelessly for about 7 hours. The cut branches were turned into wood chips and he left 3 wheelbarrow full of chips by my request (to use in our yard). I had to leave before they were finished and when I came home the yard and back porch were cleaner than before they started the work. They did a great job cleaning all the branches etc. off the porch, driveway and lawn. It's been a couple of days since they've done the work and every time I look at our now beautifully shaped trees I am happy about our decision to go with Bill's company. My husband also agrees that we got our money's worth. We would definitely use his services again and can recommend him.

I called three Angie's list tree trimmers for quotes.  They all came out.  While I enjoyed talking to all, Bill Waulter spent the most time and did a better job of explaining what he was going to accomplish with his work.  He also came in at the lowest estimate.  He arrived on time and finished the job of trimming three very old pepper trees within one day.   His crew has been with him for many years and they were all very professional in their work and behavior.  They have the right equipment to rise to the top of trees and a crew which is able to climb into the trees to accomplish the needed work. Their clean up effort was excellent.  You would never know they were here except for their wonderful work on our trees.   His business card shows they are Fully Insured, and has General Liability, Workers Comp, ST LIC 557039 as well as gives Senior Discounts.

The company came to look over my trees and provide a quote. The quote seemed reasonable considering the amount of work involved and the knowledge level required. They did an excellent, careful job. I was pleased with the results and was impressed by their knowledge of local trees. My trees are a valuable asset to my property and I avoid having trimming done by people who can easily ruin a good tree because they don't understand how trees grow. They did a good job cleaning up and caring for the property while they worked. They stopped by again within a few days to check on the results and to make sure that everything was in order. I plan to hire Custom Tree Trimming Design again for the next maintenance on my trees.

Arrived on time (8:30-9:00 AM) worked till about 3:30. Bill explained what he was having his crew do. He would periodically call me out to explain what he was going to do & show me what had been done. Explaining it all to me.

They did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable. They were very attentive to detail and definitely understood how trees grow and different needs of different types of trees.

The owner is very knowledgeable about trees. He does a great job! He doesn't over trim. He doesn't top off the trees.
