R&D Construction

We contacted Rick Lemler, (the "R" in R & D Construction), when we ran into a serious problem during the sale process of our home. Unknown to us, a valuable barn/shop on our property had been constructed in 1982 without a permit. In order to save this building we had to have it engineered and brought up to current county code and state fire standards so that a proper permit could be issued. The option was to have the valuable building demolished and to lose the pending sale of the property. Rick Lemler has experience dealing with these sorts of problems and has a good relationship with the county personnel that needed to be satisfied in this complicated process. We chose R & D Construction for this project because of their good reputation and because of good reviews on Angie's List. We are glad we did. We were operating under the pressure of time due to the pending sale of the property. Rick moved quickly to get the process moving and stayed on top of every detail while keeping us fully informed every step of the way. The work was completed in the minimum practical time and the sale of our property went through on schedule. Rick earned our complete trust and we will gladly work with him again in the future should the need arise. Rick is very knowledgeable and his work is excellent and his rates are reasonable. We highly recommend R & D Construction.

They said they would start at 8am and they did. They always cleaned up before they left for the night..Kept within the etimate quoted. Very professional and polite.

R and D did a fantastic job. They just finished my kitchen, which was a major remodel. They are into perfection, and it all went smoother than I could have imagined. While waiting for the counter tops to be made, they started the master bath. It was completed on time and on budget, they were neat and tidy, friendly and a pleasure to have around. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a remodel or a whole house construction. I will use them again.

His bid was to the penny. His start date was on time. And he showed up to work everyday on time and ready to work a full day. His trustworthyness, integrity and knowledge of his trade made the stress of remodeling a no-issue. He was very tidy in cleaning up the job site everyday so we could still function as a family with the coming and goings with school, soccer and life. He got the job done on time and on budget. His recommendations should be considered. As a novice in this area we depend on the knowledge of a professional (Rand D) to guide us in make our house remodel a success. It went wonderful, he is a man of integrity, I can trust him, I am comfortable with him coming into my home, even if I am not there. He built my house several years ago and I love it. He is the only one I call when I need something done.

Excellent. Rick Lemler is an execellent contractor. He recommended several local companies to order cabinets, plumbing supplies, flooring etc. The work has been done in a timely manner and I would definately use him again. In fact, he did a remodel with a new garage added on in the winter 2008/2009 which was also done to perfection. We have been very pleased with his workmanship, his sub contractors and his crew. We will use him more this year to remodel both bathrooms.
