Nor Cal Energy

My dad reserched the generator and batteries and had prices in hand. He went and talked to Duane and they agreed on a price and he ordered the generator and batteries, which the place had in stock. I few days later... nothing. So my dad went and got the batteries on his own. It is a 75 mile trip one way to Redding and back to Fall River Mills. He installed the batteries and took the old ones out. A few days and nothing. So he called and was told that the generator was delayed a couple of days. Finally they bring it up and DROP it as there taking it out of there truck!! The tech, Dave, trys to hook it up but isnt sure how to, what how can that be. So he tells my dad he will go back and get the wiring diagram and be back the next day. Next day comes and goes, the next week comes and goes and nothing. Call and Dave says that he was told not to come back up till there are more calls up there. My dad calls and calls for about 2 months and Dave tells him the same thing each time. I got on the phone and tried to get Duane the own and he didnt return my phone call for at least 2 weeks. I call one day and low and behold hes there. He told me that he will not come back up and do anything because it wasnt agreeed on in the beginning. He said my dad never asked to have the automatic start hooked up. If you have a solar system you know how important this is. Why would you hook one up with out it. BUT Then he hires Ed Wade and he comes out and said there is a part you have to have to hook it up and the part is $250 to $600!!! OK so now the picture comes clear!! Duane doesnt know what he is doing and didnt want to eat the cost of the part because he didnt know he needed it and so he blamed my dad!!! My dad is 72 and duane said some pretty rude things about him. SO long story short..... DONT USE NOR CAL ENERGY OR ANY OR DUANES COMPANIES!!! He is a rip off.
