Movers were very friendly, accommodating, patient, and hardworking. They took great care of everything and with only one exception, all furniture was moved with no problems. Unfortunately, the dining room table leg was broken, but mainly due to a stubborn locking mechanism. In a follow-up call, Brenda, office manager was very responsive and the damaged leg was picked up for repair in a timely fashion.

See above comments. workers have there own provessional style of dialog/communication to promote best communication and avoid disagreements, i.e. polite and courteous to each other and to person who hired them.

They arrived on time and worked very hard at moving and packing all of our items. They wrapped all the furnishings in padded blankets and secured them in the truck so that no damage could occur. We did not have them move our small boxes and closet items as we did that on our own. Overall we are very happy with how it all came out. They did a very good job and were pleasant throughout the move even though it was uncomfortably hot that day. The move of all of our furniture, appliances, and big box stuff took about 6-7 hours with me helping out. The workers only took a 15 min lunch break and were back at it. Very impressed.

They did a great job. Very professional. We were a little skeptical about having someone come into our home and pack up our personal belongings, but they answered questions. They were able to get things done.

They did in an hour and a half what it would have taken my husband and me a week and a half to do, if we could even manage it. They were cheerful and efficient, and made it a pleasant experience.

The Hansen's crew showed up a few minutes early and ready to work. They quickly sized up what was needed and began loading the truck. They worked around one comfortable chair on which my wife with her limited mobility was sitting, saving that for the end.
Once they loaded up, they moved quickly to our new house and rapidly unloaded and set up beds and loaded the closet with our clothes.
The two guys that loaded and unloaded us were friendly and open to our concerns. The office manager that made arrangements with was also friendly and very professional.
This was one of the easier moves we have made. I would happily recommend Hansen's for the kind of move we did. I know they also do long distance moves all over the place, but we have not had experience with that.

"The inquiry through our website contact page was; "We need to move from Redding to Rome Georgia the first part of August." There was no contact phone number listed for us to call him, otherwise I would have called him. My response to his comment was, "Thank you for visiting our website! However, we do not have any openings available for your move from Redding to Georgia. Thank you for your inquiry. Brenda. His first contact through our website, was on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 9:23 PM. My response was on Monday, July 23, 2012. Our office is closed on the weekends. Our phone number is listed on our website. There was no call from the member regarding his move. I have no idea why he did not call our office to discuss his move earlier. Hansen's Moving did not move the member. He does not have the right to say we are not professional. We have been in Redding, CA for 31 years and have a great reputation. Hansen's Moving and Storage strives to provide each customer with exceptional, personalized service. Our resonse to his inquiry was prompt and I do not appreciate the slanderous comments regarding our business. As shown in his comment we did not move him, but he stated work was completed on July 23, 2012. There was no work done between the member and Hansen's Moving and Storage. There was only a one line inquiry through our website which does not justify the member giving us an F rating. They arrived on time, if not a few minutes early...And then immediately started. Packing up dishes, walking the house and figuring how things could go into the truck.
I even asked if they had time could they assemble some new items we had bought, and they were very enthusiastic and willing to do anything I asked them to do.
the biggest thing I noticed was how FAST they worked. They knew their job, and were definately experienced. I NEVER thought our entire house would fit into the truck, and sure enough, they knew how to get everything in.
In the end they showed me the invoice, which they didn't even charge me for a few extra's they had done, and were gone. It allowed us to start living in the new house that day, rather than worry about moving

Careful. Pleasant. They had to transfer load to a smaller truck when arriving at the destination apartment because the new complex would not allow the large truck in. They did not charge more for this.
