Guzi-West Inspection and Consulting is a consulting company based in Northern California with offices in Redding and Arcata, CA. We specialize in inspection and consulting work for forest fire response, asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, methamphetamine, and bacteria contamination issues. Costs: Mold investigations consist of a detailed inspection of the structure with thermal imaging, moisture meters, and experienced technicians inspecting the home, crawl space, and attic. Air samples are often collected, but the key to any good mold investigation is to identify moisture issues (mold will not grow without moisture). Our mold investigation costs range from $600 and up depending upon the size of the structure and complexity of the issues. We caution against utilizing firms that only collect air samples and make a finding based upon air sampling results alone. Asbestos, lead-based paint, methamphetamine, fire response, and bacteria consulting is based on site specific conditions.
