By law the department of commerce makes interstate moving companies charge based on the weight of their shipment and this is determined by taking the truck to a weigh scale at the edge of town, weigh it empty, picking up your load, going back to the weight scale and weighing it. For both of those transactions there is a record issued by the state of whatever. And on that basis they bill what you have to pay at the end of the trip and the method of payment is determined by the van line and by the driver. If, as in my case, you will not be there, you give the payment to someone who will meet the van and supervise the unloading. All of which is included in the price. A bill for extra features such as what they call, non-carry, which is, for example, if they have to do stairs, if they have to go across the parking lot and park in the street, it's all fair and competitive. I have been working with them for at least a month. Their courteousness is at the top of the scale.

The first time I met with Bob, we agreed on a price which included packing and unpacking.
The next time I met with Bob, he removed the unpacking and said that I wouldn't want them to unpack because the labor would leave paper and boxes all over and from his experience, people called him back and said tell them not to unpack.
The following time I met with Bob, he said he never told me that the price will include the packing and that I would need to pay the packer $200 cash. By then it was getting too late to change companies.
The household goods were supposed to be delivered by 10/28 and then I was informed that they won't be in until 11/1 (read the fine print he said). That generated additional 4 days paying for a rental car and hotels. My car went from $9.99 a day to $34.99 a day.
When I called to see if the driver left, he said the white driver and two black helpers are loading the furniture and joked that the helpers are going through the boxes. I was horrified at the prejudice attitude and that anyone would joke about something like that.
They labeled me as a difficult customer saying, and quot;You're really a piece of work.and quot; I remember promises very well and I expect the people to live up to them, I do. They also moved my girlfriend and forgot her couch. To deliver her couch they charged her over $1,000 even though it was their oversight.

Punctual, hard-working, friendly, no problems

They are amazing. They are very good and did an outstanding job.
