Richard was recommended to us by a friend. We called and left a message inquiring about what services he performed, he got back to us very quickly, was very professional, hard working, listened well and understood the breadth and scope of our project. He arrived a few days later with his co-worker, Mike, an equally fabulously hard working young man. They saw the job, provided us with 3 bids for materials, agreed to work of an hourly rate. In 24 hours, they showed up with all the materials, dismantled the previous dock, replaced all the old materials with fresh pressure treated lumber, added supporting materials to enhance the look and longevity of the repair, and were done in 14 hours, working 8 hours one day, and 6 1/2 hours the next day. We were overjoyed on every level of service, they were competent, bright, could think outside the box, offerred alternative solutions, worked their tails off on days when it was very warm, without ever a complaint. From their ingenuity in bring power to the construction area from over 1/3 acre distance, to their dismantling and stacking of the previous materials, these guys were simply amazing, actually, if you really wanna know, they're like, too good to be true! We do almost all of our own construction work, so we were thrilled to have handed off this daunting task and have it turn out so beautifully for well under half of what it would have cost, had we used another contractor.
