Benton Plumbing

Mr. Benton installed the plumbing for my (then) new house in1998. About 2001 I asked him to go ahead with installing a shower and toilet upstairs, for which he had already run rough piping. The shower and piping for the bathroom sinks went fine. After running piping under the floor and into the wall for the toilet, he said to call him after the vinyl floor covering  was done, and he would install the toilet. An employee came, did the job, and discovered the wall connection was for hot water.
When I called Mr. Benton to get it changed to cold , he said it would be easy to do, and he would come over soon. I was not impatient and did not call him until  several months later when a downstairs line backed up. He came right away and fixed that problem. I reminded him about the toilet using hot water. He said he had forgotten and would call me to set up an appointment. He probably forgot again, until coming for another emergency call, my reminding him again, his apologizing, but doing nothing afterward. So I wrote a reminder letter. No response.
After a 4-year wait, I changed plumbers. They corrected the problem, but were not drywall experts, so the wall where they accessed the cold water is pretty rough.

I wasn't happy that I had a high service charge. They did a good job on the work.

Benton Plumbing costed must less than I anticipated. He showed up when He said he would. He got the work done and was gone.
