US Floor Kitchen & Bath

I am absolutely amazed at the quality of work performed by these guys. I spent months trying to find someone to install the wood-look ceramic plank tile throughout my living areas, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room. No one wanted touch the job on such a large scale at a reasonable price because of the skill and labor involved with setting such long planks. Not only did the owners, Ed and Bruce, assure me their installers could handle the job, but they did it at a very fair price. They had a great selection of good quality porcelain tile to choose from. They also did the demo of my old tile. The installers were very skilled, they used spacers to get the 1/8th inch grout line I wanted, so the tile would look more like wood. They also used a level and made sure there was no lippage. And there is absolutely none, the floor is perfect, can't find a single flaw in the tile or their installation. I was impressed watching them. They also installed new baseboards, and their wood guy is fantastic at what he does. I was so impressed with their work that I decided to have them remove the upstairs carpet and put wood laminate flooring there and on the stairs. I know I was a pain in the ass with how long it took me to decide on flooring, going back and forth between laminate, bamboo, and engineered wood, but both Bruce and Ed were so patient and showed me so many samples, answered all my questions. These guys know their stuff. Bruce even brought samples out to the house. I ended up with a fantastic, gorgeous laminate that has a lifetime warranty. It looks amazing. Will be using these guys again to re-do my fireplace and master bath.

Received a good quote, but the price went up quickly once all the laminate flooring was removed.  Was told they needed to grind the entire floor to remove old carpet glue and concrete sealer.  (unforeseen condition under the wood flooring)  I argued this because half of the laminate flooring was already removed when they gave the quote and could see the condition of the concrete.  The rest of the concrete that was covered wasn't any different that what observable.
I was given the option of canceling the contract, but I needed to get it done so they did install additional tile in my rest room for free.
After the install was completed we notice poor quality of installation.  The grout joints did not line up and they installed tile that had damaged spots.  They offered to repair, but we negotiated to have them install new wood base instead.
Overall I was satisfied the with the final value, but watch their installation quality and beware of their foreseen conditions clause in their contract.  It is in writing, but should haven been verbalized to us prior starting the work that the price could go up.

After getting estimates from several places I found these folks.  The salesperson was very helpful and had been in the business for a long time.  Went with his recommendations.  They had the best pricing I found and service was done in a matter of a few days, right before I had guests arrive.  Couldn't have been better!

We have owned 8 homes, and have worked with a lot of contractors in the past. This is, hands-down, the best flooring company we've ever worked with. The owner, Bruce, is kind, ethical, and knows his industry extremely well. His flooring crew (Casar's crew) was super talented, polite, and worked very hard. Not only is our flooring beautiful, but our baseboards really make our house look elegant. We gave them quite a project, as our kitchen floor had to be leveled, some of our corners were rounded and not all of our walls were completely even. They took the time to do it all right, and finished exactly when they said they would. This is truly a 5 star company!

This is the third time we have used U.S.Flooring in the past 10 years. We have dealt with the manager, Bruce, each time. He has always been extremely professional and knowledgeable about the products we have wanted. He has always been willing to beat other vendors prices too.
I will admit that this time around, Bruce was not as diligent about returning phone calls as he has been in the past. In his defense, he manages more than one store and was completing a large project at another of his stores at the time.
Anyway, he came out and measured our floors, brought us samples I had quickly selected at his store and gave my husband and me an estimate on the floors. We quickly compromised on a price and the work began about 10 days later. There were three extremely polite young men who performed the work in just 3 days (2 days less than estimated). They worked SO hard each day that I felt sorry for them. Demolishing and removing our old hardwood floors was backbreaking work!! And they worked from about 8 AM until 5:30 PM in hot weather with a polite smile each time I passed. Their workmanship was impeccable. I found out that they were the same guys who installed our floors and carpet at our last two houses over the past 10 years. No wonder we liked their work again. We opted for a

laminate floor this time instead of real wood due to our dog and 3 kids and the wear and tear our floors must go through. The new floors look better than real wood and i don't have to worry about them getting scratched up. AND they were half the price!
I would definitely use U.S. Flooring again and highly recommend them.

When we arrived at US Flooring in Rancho Santa Margarita- we were greeted by Bruce. We brought a sample of what we already have in the house and he was able to match it in about 2 minutes. I went home and called around for prices. US flooring has a good price so we went with them . We told him that it was discontinued so can he try to order it right away since they did have enough in stock at main distribution site. Sounded great. We ordered it and set install in 2 weeks. The day before the install we get a call from Bruce saying they discontinued it. Yes we spoke about it and he didn't order it in time but he ordered something else for us and would we like that installed. What? He wanted us to install different flooring, sight unseen. We went back to the store and picked out something else. Set install date for 1 week on a Monday. They show up the Friday before and I'm not home. Try to call Bruce and ask what is going on and he says a mistake. OK then show up Monday as planned so he calls installers who in turn call us. They can't do Monday but will be there Tuesday. It's raining so they come on Wednesday. They show up at 9 but main guy who is the only installer who speaks English , is gone. Everyone stands around waiting for the main guy to come back from wherever. Still wet outside so we sent up an Easy -up for guys to cut wood hardwood. They move it to almost our front porch. No, I tell them to move to driveway. They finally start at 10:20 or so. I had called Bruce several time and no answer. I finally get through and leave a message and he never calls back. Meanwhile the installers tell me they can't finish today so they will come back some other day in the future. We need to get done so Loftcrafters can come back and install baseboards and painters come in less than a weeks. US floor is not sure when they can finish because they tell me they are busy. I have been waiting a month for this. What a nightmare working with this company. No communication, no problem resolution.
