 + -1 moreThe crew was punctual and the pavers came out nicely. The BBQ was set too close to the fence and caused a 2 year battle with the HOA where I eventually settled with them and paid a fine. The re-bar for the coping was, apparently set too high (of the opinion of other contractors) and now we have parallel cracks running all around our pool. These cracks allow for water to penetrate the concrete and reach the rebar - causing iron oxidization (rust spots). Now we have blotches of rust spots that range from 3 inches to some that are close to 10 inches. After spending close to $100K on our hardscape we had much higher expectations. When I did mention this to Oceanscapes he said it was not his fault and that earth tremors were to blame for the parallel cracks that run over the rebar. We have had several contractors come and look that the damage and all concluding that all the coping around the pool should be ripped out and re-installed. Oceanscape did say they would work out something that I could pay less if I used them to fix the problem. The logic was lost on me: Pay them to fix the problem they created?
Description of Work: We hired Oceanscape to do the hardscape for our new house - including pavers, BBQ island, and finish work (coping) around our new in-ground pool.

 + 0 moreThe men doing the work were very polite, diligent in their work and gave me privacy while they worked. They were clean and well spoken.
Description of Work: Re-grout deteriorated grout between bricks in patio and took out cement around the brick and replaced with colored stamped concrete.The workman also made sure my sprinkler system worked better than before and installed another location for water so that I could have a hose nearer to the driveway so that I can now wash it off with more ease.
