GRADY'S DRAPERIES & INTERIORS

I wanted to get a custom bedspread that would go with a Navajo rug that hangs above our bed. The colors in the rug are rather unusual, (red, green and brown) so we had been unable to find anything that would work. Our kingsize bed is also higher than most, so a ready-made bedspread wouldn't work. To make things more difficult, because of sensitivities to chemicals, pollens and dust, I needed something that could be washed if necessary. I first dropped into Grady's with my rug to see if they thought they could help. We discussed some ideas and then made an appointment for a couple of days later when they would have more time. When I met with them the second time, Donna had already pulled out a beautiful faux suede fabric that was washable. The fabric came in all three colors I wanted and matched perfectly. I ordered the bedspread in red, two kingsize shams in brown and one green pillow. They came over and measured our bed exactly to insure a perfect fit. I was told that the items should be ready in 3 to 4 weeks if the fabric was available from the wholesaler. As promised, they were delivered in 4 weeks. They look spectacularly beautiful and really make the Navajo rug pop. The fit is perfect, just as promised. Grady's has been around for 35 years or so. It is now run by two brothers and one sister. They are all very nice and easy to talk to. They are very down to earth and I felt very comfortable working with them. They were willing to listen and worked to meet my rather different needs. They are also very knowledgeable and have a great deal of experience in interior design. I highly recommend them.
