Shane Reyes is the most difficult and frustrating contractor that I've ever worked with. He started a project last year that was supposed to last three months. 11 months later, we're now having to find other contractors to finish the work. We already paid him for. He has been dishonest to me from the beginning stating that he doesn't nickel and dime and gave me a price for remodeling bathroom and kitchen. A few weeks into the project he asked for an additional $2000 to pay for a glass door because according to him, he didn't realize how much it costs. That certainly is his responsibility not the clients, since he is a contractor, he would disappear for weeks at a time and only come back after I threaten to have another contractor finish his work because he had bad in the job even though he's already been paid. That would cause him to usually come back for a couple of days and then disappear again. He continually blamed the designers and everyone else for his problems. He complained to me that he did not bid enough for the project and that I was "taking food from his family's mouth" if you're looking to hire someone who will be nothing but frustration an absolute disaster for your project then Shane race with concept to construction is your man.

Hiring Shane Reyna has been the worst and most costly mistake we have ever experienced and expected from someone who has known us for several years! ! He did a lousy job, he sent us apprentices, inexperienced people to remodel our bathroom and install limestone in our master shower, this guy knew the sacrifice we made to remodel our house. His workers started making a mess in our house on December 23, 2023. Six months have passed and we still live in an unsanitary and chaotic environment. We gave Shane Reyna a second chance to fix the mess and he sent the same apprentices to demolish part of the bathroom to redo it and they made things worse. Reyna never came to supervise the work even when he was warned of what was happening. On one occasion he told us ironically “do you pay me to supervise? Something incredible said by the person who is supposed to own this company, a fictitious company! He only came to our house to collect more money. This individual knew very well that he had not hired bathroom experts, he deceived us even knowing us for many years. He scammed us out of thousands of dollars that we invested in material and charged us double what an experienced builder is charging us to tear down the mess and rebuild a new master shower. Shane Reyna validated our suspicions of his low IQ, lack of morals, rudeness, lack of respect for us, and he turned out to be a compulsive liar who can't tell right from wrong. What's more, the invoices he gave us had errors in addition in his favor and when we contacted him he told us that he forgot to add things, things that he never did. It's quite possible that he did a good job for Maria D, since he moved into this woman's house a while ago. He did a really good job. It worked out real nice. He painted, put up new flashing, concrete and rubber coating. He even gave me a sample piece to show me how it's done.

They were a bit slow in giving me the quote. They came out in a timely fashion but it was a while before I got a quote from them. I did not hire them since they were out of line as far as my budget was concerned.

Shane does a great job-he is very knowledgable, prompt, and has great sub-contractors. I have used him several times now for my own projects. He came out originally for a fireplace, and has done masonry, a new deck, painting, rain damage and is currently working on a bathroom remodel. I have referred him to my design and real estate clients and co-workers. He is also very design oriented with great ideas and solutions. A wonderful source for products such as windows, doors, stone, tile, etc.
