Our air conditioner needed replaced in my 2 bedroom condo (original unit) and I got a quote from another well known company for 15K. After laughing out loud, I decided to call and get a few more quotes. Thank goodness I called Aliso Air. Right from the gate, I saw the professionalism of Aliso Air. After the tech came out (man I wish I remembered his name), he did concur that I needed a new system. After talking with Shawn, I was quoted basically 1/2 my original quote with Lennox equipment. My appointment was set up for the following week. Yesterday, the crew of Victor, Ricardo and George showed up early, laid down protective covering and got to work. I would say in about 6 hours they knocked out the job. Needless to say, I will stick with Aliso Air from now on and would highly recommend them.

My brand new home AC coil died in 3 years according to Aliso (our builder used these guys). They replaced it under warranty for parts only. I paid over $700 for labor. We waited weeks to get it fixed. Then 2 years later, there was a leak from our ceiling. I called Aliso to come and take a look because I did not want any water damage in our house. Aliso came 1 week after I asked for an urgent evaluation. Then, they said the the replaced coil drain pan was broken so that was why it was leaking. They would replace the drain pan for $425 with no guarantee or replace the whole coil for $2000. It was going to take 2 weeks to get the part. Also, I asked the service manager why our AC air was not cold enough although the coil was only 2 years old. He blamed the weather. I know the coil is bad again because that happened with our first AC coil. They said that they no longer used the coil brand that they replaced two years ago because they has problems with them! ***! Never never with these guys!!!

They were respectful and on time. They wore the booties inside the house. They didn't have to be told to put them on. They cleaned up after themselves. They explained everything in detail with the issue, what the problem was and what could have caused the problem. They're just really good. The price was reasonable.

I give this place a big fat F = Lousy.  They have poor quality of work and are very unprofessional.  My home is only 2 years old and I thought I was doing the right thing by bringing back the company that was hired by the home builder to do routine maintenance on my AC unit.
Continuing to use this company was a big mistake.  They do shoddy work so you have to ask to come back again.  Having them do maintenance on my AC unit was a big mistake and I would have been fine had I not done anything at the end of June.
On 9/8/15, my AC unit doesn't blow any cold air and it's about 95 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside my house.  I leave a message for their answering service to call me back.  I know they open at 7am so I wait until 8am for my return phone call.
**NOTHING**  So don't waste your time with their answering service because they don't check their messages when they come in the morning.  I decided to call them and request a TECH to come out to my house to fix my AC unit.
The person (lady) who answers the phone is a bit rude and has an attitude.  I get transferred to the person who schedules the appointments (another lady).  Boy, she was very condescending and rude to me.  Told me that I would have to wait until October 15th because they are all booked up.  Wow, you expect me to wait for 1 month for service?
What kind of business treats its customers this way?  They have zero concept of customer service and acted like I was bothering them.  Never mind the heatwave we were having and that fact that I had a 1 year old little girl at home fell on deaf ears.  They would not budge nor try to help me in anyway.
They had to nerve to accuse of me of trying to cut corners on an AC unit that had a warranty that expired 1 year ago.  Didn't even bother to look up my account and see that I had you clowns over my house at the end of June.  So basically, their visit in June was a placebo.  It did no good.  However, she took the time to explain to me that an AC unit is a piece of machinery that moves.  Things that move can break.
Thanks for the clarification.  I didn't know my AC until was a machine until you explained it so clearly to me.  Don't be scared to call another provider like I did.  They try to scare you and claim that your warranty will be voided if you use someone else.  Didn't you just accuse me of skipping on maintenance on my AC unit that didn't have a warranty?
The only reason why this place is in business is because they were lucky to be chosen as a vendor for Irvine Pacific Homes.  Other than that, there is no reason why they are still opened today.  They are not winning people over with great service.
Yes, I called someone else at 9am.  The other company completely understood the situation and was over my house at 1pm.  Turns out, the moron from Aliso Air that came to my house in June created a small leak in my AC unit.  So even if I had the 1 year warranty, it would do no good because their workmanship is poor and they make excuses and refuse to come back and fix their own mistakes.
I never indicated that I wanted any sort of guarantee for the June appointment.  I just wanted someone to come to my house and see why my AC was not working.  I know my unit was not under warranty would pay them whatever it cost to fix it.
I am done with them and will never do business with any company that treats their customers so poorly.

As a home owner who lives out of state, I have found the people at Aliso to be professional and responsive. In particular, Shawn has been excellent with email and phone communication.
In the spring of 2014, Aliso installed a central air unit. They were clear and upfront about the service and the cost and they completed the work in a timely and efficient manner.  There was some disruption for a day or so for my tenant, but this is to be expected with a major revision and remediation in an older home. Recently, I needed to recontact them to have part of the system checked, as it was not functioning properly.  This was a warranty call and it is being addressed quickly and professionally. Overall, I am very happy with their service.

Once they got out here, it went fine. It was a week for them to come out and analyze the problem and another week to order the part. Then come out and fix it. So it was two from when I called them to when it got fixed.

If it will be our choice, I will not use them again but we have a service warranty with them.

Alex and Mike did an excellent job installing the new units. They were professional, clean, and very caring during the install. They made sure tarps were down on all the stairs and carpets, wore booties, and took the time to clean the entire work area. The estimate time to do the work was close to what they stated even though they were unaware of the tight attic space. They worked through the challenges. I also want to commend Roger, service tech who also provide exceptional service and advice on just the right type of unit to install. Well done!

Alex and Virgilio showed up on time to install our new air conditioner. The job ended up taking the whole day because apparently we have a tight attic space. The guys were professional and did a good job. My only complaint is that when it was time to pay, Alex knew nothing about applying the inspection fee we had aleady been charged toward the cost of the new a/c as had been promised by another technician. Not Alex's fault, but annoying nonetheless. I hate it when I have to get bitchy because a company doesn't honor their promises (I did get the fee applied).

They did come out. He couldn't repair it that day. He had to order a part but he did diagnose correctly what the problem was. The part came the following day, he installed it and the furnace has been operating fine ever since so it's pretty good service. He is very good.

Aliso Air are crooks.
My heating unit fan would not turn off, so they said I needed to replace the control module. They tried to charge my wife $400 for the part which I found available on the internet (same part number and mfg) for $60, plus a $100 service charge.
When I complained to the installer, he said I had to speak to his manager. Of course the manager wouldn't take my call while the installer was waiting at my house, so my wife told him to do the work anyway. When I finally got the manager on the phone later that day, I asked if they would lower the price of the part to something reasonable and they refused. I said that if they wouldn't lower the prrice that they could come back and take the overpriced part back. Instead of working with me, they sent the installer back and he took out the new part and left my heating unit in a completely non-functioning state. They still charged me $100 for the service call.
This is deplorable customer service and borderline fraud.
Response from ALISO AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING
"The member contacted us to schedule a service technician to their home to repair their furnace. We have a diagnostic fee of $94.00 and upon our technician’s evaluation of the system, found the printed circuit board to be non-functioning. Our technician quoted the price of $306.00 to provide the new part including the installation. The homeowner gave us the approval and we completed the service call for the total of $400.00. Member called us later and asked us to lower the price since he went on the internet and found the part cheaper. We only use authorized replacement parts and are not sure the type and quality of parts that are available on the internet. Our pricing structure is very competitive in Orange County for a full service HVAC company. Unfortunately, we were unable to lower the cost of the service call to member so he requested that we come back and remove the part. We honored his request and voided his check and did not charge for the installation of the part or for the diagnostic $94.00 charge."

The 30-year-old HVAC ducts in our home's attic were deteriorating resulting in poor cooling efficiency on the upper floor on hot days. Aliso Air replaced all of the attic ductwork with modern materials and installed dampers to balance the airflow between upstairs and downstairs. Their crew was very professional and arrived on time to the minute the day the work was scheduled. They used drop cloths and shoe covers when working in our home to prevent tracking attic dust and insulation on our carpets. The quality of the materials and installation was first rate. All of this for a very reasonable price. We have used them before and will again for our HVAC needs.

Over the years, we have had many contractors in our home. Few of them have been worth everything we have paid them, and many have left us frustrated.

Aliso Air is an exception -- and an exceptional contractor. Everyone with whom we dealt was professional, patient, and fair, starting with Shawn, who estimated the work, Tony, the job supervisor, and Freddy, who managed the three-man crew and ran the job.

Shawn was always available throughout the entire job to take our call and deal with any questions that came up. He delivered exactly what he promised and made suggestions that saved us money. He was outstanding.

The crew worked under time pressure to get the job finished before the holidays, cleaned up before they went home each day, and were considerate and friendly through the entire job. They were strictly professional.

The new heating system works very well. It heats all of our rooms within minutes. The air purification system which we purchased seems to be improving my wife's allergies.

Every aspect of our experience with Aliso Air was positive. I would recommend them to anyone.

We just bought our house and the AC went out two weeks after closing escrow. I was so relieved that it turned out to be a minor, inexpensive issue. It means a lot to me that they didn't recommend anything unnecessary and that they fixed what was wrong and that was it. Overall a very positive experience. I would definitely use them again.

Installation was done on time and professionally. However, number of covers for outlets was not counted correctly. It took close to 2 weeks before someone came out to install missing covers and then some did not it. They came out out a couple of days with correct size. I am concerned that delay could have cost me my CA rebate/
