I adopted a puppy from this animal center and I couldn't be happier with the service I received or with the puppy I adopted! The staff was very professional and friendly and had our interests as well as those of our pet at the top of their list! I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the facility as well as the extensive questioning we received to ensure we were serious about providing a "forever home" for our puppy. I highly recommend Helen Woodward Animal Center if you're looking to adopt a puppy!

They are an animal rescue shelter, and they do boarding too. They have an animal hospital attached to it. So, if ever there is an issue with your animal while they are there, their doctors there on site can take care of them. I pay for extra services like the pool, the group play, and the individual attention. They are truly awesome. They take care of the animals. They followed-up with me. They keep me informed; they give a report card at the end when I pick her up that tells me how she did. They do a tremendous job.

THE STAFF WAS A DELIGHT. PRICE WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE FOR SERVICES WE NEEDED and THEY WERE ABLE TO GET OUR DOG IN ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. WELL WORTH THE DRIVE FROM OCEAN BEACH!
