The service was excellent. They were here on time. They cleared the roof off in one day. It took only two days to finish it. We weren't disrupted. The owner Robert Bacon is always there on the job. Their price was very fair. He gave me an estimate. I had 2 or 3 other estimates; so when I asked him for an estimate, he went out under the roof and measured it up there. He came down and gave me a report on the roof. He said it would probably last another year and to repair some flashing and things because it was in there for 30 years, so that's just kind of sold me. Only one other person went on the roof and they came down with a bid that was so far high. They quoted $30000. All three bids that I had were higher and the lowest was $18500. I am not sure if it was an accurate one. He is on the job. His pricing is fair. He did the job in less than four days and we have a big house and roof. It had to be torn down to rafters because it had been up for such a long time. The quality was excellent. He told me what he was going to do and gave me the quote. He was right on time every time.

Robert and his crew identified the problem quickly and was able to fix it on the same day. They cleaned up nicely and hauled away all roofing debris. We knew the leak was fixed when a couple of weeks later it rained and no water leaked down our living room window.

Looks very good---old ridge caps removed and new ones installed--2500 square foot house. Will know in next rain storm of leak is fixed. Chimney, vents, etc. all re-sealed. Work was timely, courteous, well-priced, and efficiently done.

During the rain when it really poured, the roof leaked. The water dripped through a recessed light in the master bathroom. A neighbor suggested Southland Roofing as they had used them before and were really happy with the job. I called and made an appointment for the following week. This was ok as the rain had stopped. They came on time, looked where the water had come in and went up on the roof. After a few minutes he came back down and said several concrete tiles had slid down and torn the paper. He said he could repair it right away, which I agreed to. I also asked him to check the rain gutter on that side of the house. He found a lot of leaves and unclogged the gutter. Now I can't wait for it to pour so I can see if the roof doesn't leak. They were very professional and courteous.
