Earthquake Retrofitting
Richard Hess is the owner. He responded, but he did not do it in a reasonable way. He produced a report that we did not ask for. It was not authorized by us. It didn't have any information. His recommendations didn't even meet the code. We paid him initially to come and check out the job. We had to pay for him to just come out and see the project. He billed us $2000 for that report. We told him that we would not pay for that and that we no longer wanted to work with him. He then sued us and we went to court. He lost. I feel nobody should work with him. He is incompetent and fraudulent.
