I had just 48 hours before leaving town with a dog/ housesitter staying in our home, so for the first time in 7 years I decided to use a cleaning service. We had received promotional mailings from the Cleaning Authority, and this company was responsive to the short time frame and my busy schedule. The franchise owner came out initially to provide an estimate of the cost and explain services offered, and the cleaning crew of two arrived shortly afterwards. The estimate was for 2-2 1/2 hours but the crew actually cleaned for over 3 hours. (I was charged for only 2.5) They did an excellent job in the most important areas, getting the main bath/shower and toilets cleaner than I've ever seen. This is an older home, and we share it with our 5 active dogs. Windows and doors were thoroughly cleaned of nose prints (maybe easier to clean than finger prints from kids?). The two rooms in the home that we use as offices were declared "leave alone" zones, as they were a bit cluttered to effectively be cleaned. But other than those areas, this was the first time in years that the whole house was "company clean" and it felt great. I was home the entire time, and the girls seemed to be following an established routine. When asked if they'd like to do my home again, both seemed very sincere in responding "yes". I will definitely use the Cleaning Authority again, and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
