+ -1 morePLEASE READ. Where do I start...? This man, “Gerry Singley”... is one of the worst people to work with. I don’t really understand how this man got to be a contractor. He is not only manipulative, but he thrives to intimidate and rip people off. He called himself a so said “Christian”, but he nearly put my family on the streets. This process of remodeling was suppose to take 4-5 months, “he said”... BUT took nearly a year. A YEAR...We spent thousands of dollars on hotel costs, storage unit costs, and having to eat out after he closed off our kitchen even though work wasn’t set for that room. He dragged this remodel on for too long. His work was mediocre. He was careless and reckless. He didn’t clean after his day of work and often left power tools plugged in. Live wires we’re left uncovered, and nails/tacks and cables were scattered on the floor. I even found rusty nails and blades scattered on my lawn... 6 months into the remodel of my bathroom, he tells us he doesn’t know how to install new glass tile or my vinyl flooring. This is funny, because he said he is able to do EVERYTHING and can work with ALL MATERIALS... His verbal completion date was September 2019 and his contractual date was November 2019. We fired him, paid him for what he did, and are in the process of working with a new contractor to finish the rest of the house. Would not recommended...

Description of Work: We completed a living room 400 sq ft addition on our home. We really liked some of the contractors Singley used, including the framers. It was mostly on time, we did add some last minute changes. We are pleased with the outcome, but would have liked a bit more proactive communication from our contractor. Apart from that, all went well.
