Secard Pools & Spas

It was a nightmare. I signed the contract on April 6 and was told the work would commence in approximately 2 weeks. The work began 2 1/2 months later. The initial work went well and I was pleased with the tile and coping though the tile on the pool steps did not exactly match the tile around the perimeter. The initial plaster job was a disaster and the Customer service Rep from Secard Pools told the subcontractor to drain the pool and fix it. When the pool was refilled and the new light was put in, I saw divets all over the bottom of the pool. Ultimately the pool was drained again and the plaster removed once again. This time the plaster job was satisfactory. Altogether the pool was demolished twice and drained three times. The subcontractor paid the costs of the extra water and chemicals. The subcontractor failed to keep many scheduled dates. The pool was not finished until 3 months after the actual work was begun or 5 1/2 months after the contract signing.
