Did both but forgot to let us see the new fan's serial number and dumped the old fan on the front porch.

A few of my neighbors use Butch and they recommended him to me.  I've been using him for about 10 years now.  He's done about 20 to 30 jobs for me over the years.  From ceiling fans to mysterious electrical problems.  Even put in a dog door.  He knows what he's doing and he's a really nice guy on top of it.  Easy to talk to.  He takes his time in explaining things in an easy to understand manner.  He seems to really care about your electrical issues.  Like a guy who gets off on figuring out problems.  Not just some anonymous technician who's going through the motions and could care less.  His prices are the best by far.  Which is probably why he's so in demand.  So call way ahead of time to make sure he can get you in.  Like they say, I got no beef with Butch.  He's great.

Since I was in the middle of re-modeling, I did not take the time to acquire mulitply bids. You can tell that Butch understood my situation and knew exactly what I wanted. He was fair and reasonable with his estimate. Also, he was willing to sqeeze
the work in the following morning, which was important to me to keep the re-modeling efforts going becasue this was a rental property and we had other contractor waiting pending the electrical modifications.
Butch showed up on-time, performed the work as discussed, and completed the tasks within
the scheduled time. I was very please with the results and his "can do" attitude. His efforts keep my re-modeling moving along as the drywall finisher was waiting to complete the patching and finish work for the bathroom.
No job is too small for Butch, I will consider Butch Electric for my next project, big or small.

Process was easy, Electrician answered our many questions, was professional and fast. He sent followup email requesting how satisfied we were with the work and included estimate of future work we will have done. Would recommend him.

I selected Butch off of Angie's List to complete some work that I had started with another electrician. The previous electrician had agreed to an hourly rate instead of a fixed price for the work that I needed done but gave a terrible estimate of the total number of hours needed to complete the job, so I fired him. Butch came in with a fixed price to complete the tasks and although the price was slightly higher on a per hour basis, the work and attention to detail was excellent. Butch was quick, courteous and knowledgeable. The ceiling fan install required cutting several holes in my ceiling and he did a great job of cutting sections out and numbering them so drywall guys were able to put them back in place and re-apply the texture. Overall, a very good job, I will be hiring him again.

B**** gave estimate over the phone and was very accurate. He was able to set up the job within a week. He arrived on time with his son and completed the job in 3 hours. After telling them what we wanted they went right to work. Very professional and knew their stuff. Highly recommended.

All work proceeded smoothly and was completed to my satisfaction. Butch is a quick, experienced worker. He takes care to protect surfaces from dust and debris. He was knowledgeable about electrical codes for my city. He arrived on time and always completed on schedule, if not sooner. I have used him for years now and have always been more than pleased with the results and the price.
