John was the service tech.  We appreciate that he showed us a reset button for the system we hadn't known about.  He went over the results of the inspection with us.  Our system is eleven years old at this time.

The only problem we have with this company is that they always try to sell us some kind of upgrade when they come out.  We have had ductwork and a UV system put in by them in addition to the usual inspections.  We have regretted having the UV system as it was very expensive.

Sam from Bayside Plumbing came at the exact time on Saturday that he said he would be there. He was no nonsense but very friendly. He had a quick rapport with my wife and I. He spent at least three hours diagnosing and fixing the problem which included a leak of Freon in the air conditioning system that was hard to find. So, Sam went out and purchased a sealant that would seal any small holes in the system. He also filled up the Freon. He also cut-off and blew out PVC line at the air conditioner blower in the attic. He also acid washed the condenser and replaced the air filter. I felt that his price of $595 was very reasonable. He did not try to tell me that my system was broken and I needed to replace the entire compressor. He was honest, methodical, and the repairs worked. My air conditioner now blows very cold and the system is about 13 years old. I recommend Bayside Heating and Air very highly and I would use Sam again for repairs.
