Home Inspection
OUR TWO YEAR OLD HOME WAS BUILT BY US HOME. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER MOVING IN WE STARTED SEEING SOME VERY LARGE CRACKS DEVELOP IN THE DRYWALL. US HOME SENT THEIR WORKMEN OUT TO REPAIR THEM, BUT THE DRYWALL IS NOW CRACKING IN THE SAME AREA AGAIN. IN ADDITION, WE ARE DEVELOPING SOME SERIOUS CRACKS IN SEVERAL OTHER PARTS OF THE HOUSE. I REALIZE THAT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF CRACKING IS NORMAL AS THE HOUSE SETTLES, BUT THE SEVERITY OF THE PROBLEM DOES NOT APPEAR TO ME TO BE WITHIN NORMAL LIMITS. WE HAVE ALSO HAD SEVERAL OTHER CONSTRUCTION QUALITY PROBLEMS WITH THE HOME, WHICH US HOME HAS HAD TO ADDRESS. I DON'T BELIEVE US HOME DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOUSE. THEY WERE ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH IN REGARD TO THE PURCHASE PROCESS. THEY MADE THE EXPERIENCE VERY UNPLEASANT FOR US. WE HAVE PURCHASED A NUMBER OF HOMES IN THE PAST AND HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH AN UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THEM. WE WILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANOTHER HOUSE FROM US HOME AGAIN.
