As a self-taught craftsman with over 20 years of experience in cabinetry, woodworking, & finishing, I am committed to maintaining a very high standard of quality, beauty, & durability for your custom projects. I use only the best & highest-quality materials available for construction – for example, instead of imported sheet goods, I use high-end or domestic materials for box construction & solid wood for fronts & visible areas, as well as heavy-duty hardware & conversion varnish as standard. I want to ensure that your custom pieces will both age beautifully & hold up to most cleaning chemicals & heavy use. Why have a beautiful piece if you cannot actually use it for generations? With your input, ideas, & needs in mind, I design, make & manufacture each piece myself. I come out for your estimate, & I use no “salesmen” or “representatives” so you can be confident that every step of the process is handled with a commitment to personal communication & an uncompromising dedication to excellence. By working for various shops, companies, & craftsmen over the years, & assimilating all that they had to teach, I created my own apprenticeship yet my skillset & talents are continually growing as my clients come up with pretty innovative projects! Feel free to call me to talk about your needs & visit my website for example of my work. Thank you for taking the time to check out Sticks, Phil Snyder

"I remember this. WOLF appliances was very difficult to deal with. Their rep did not want to acknowledge that their spe sheet had a discrepancy. There were conflicting measurements on the spec sheets. When I called to ask, the rep said it will fit with either measurement, and when I disagreed he told me I was lazy, and hung up on me. Lazy???? When I called back, he just kept picking up the line, and hanging up without saying a word. VERY unprofessional. What if it was someone besides me trying to call back? I even called back on a different day, and tried to trick the man. Long story short, I never was able to resolve the discrepancy. I worked with the client to try and do some work for the money they had paid me, but they stopped responding to my phone calls. I called half a dozen times, and tried to schedule appointments. I was either informed that it would have to be on a different day, or not responded to at all. I really tried. I was unable to connect with them to complete the work. I am still willing to either fully refund the money they paid me, or work for it. Call me Mr. Blake, don't just blow me up on Angie's List. I bought hundreds of dollars of materials for your job, and lost money too. It would be nice to see this resolved correctly."
"I think it's about time I start responding to my reviews. I will start with the most recent for the time being, this one. For some reason it is not showing me all of the review that I am responding to. Perhaps Angie's List could include the entire review here for reference in the future. For the time being, I will attempt to copy and paste the review elsewhere, so I can reply to it in it's entirety. Be right back."
"Okay, I pasted the whole review in a sticky note. I was unable to "be right back" in the review after this one like I had intended, so I will try to address that later. I apologize. For this review; It was a pleasure working with you. I'm glad you are happy with the results. Thank you very much for your positive review here!"
"Thank you for the great review. Those were fun projects. I'm glad I was able to work with you a second time. Keep in touch."
"Thank you for the awesome review. That poor old desk we took out of there didn't stand a chance of being rebuilt, so I had to pony up a new one. This is an inherent risk in attempting to modify existing work. Sometimes all is well, and sometimes the old stuff is paper thin, and barely held together the first time. I have since stopped modifying old things, the risk is just not worth it when it is bad. This was a costly one. I'm glad you are so happy with my services! I try very hard, and reviews like this help to make it all worth it. Thanks!"
