This was a very pleasant experience. Everyone at Furniture Repair was friendly and professional. They did an excellent job of repairing my headboard - it was impossible to tell the repair spot from the rest of the headboard. I definitely recommend them.

Icontacted the owner (John) by phone. As I live in Galt and they were located in Rancho Cordova (about 30 miles apart) I emailed pictures with dimensions to the owner. He provided a written quote, made arrangements for the furniture to be picked up and then redelivered after they were complete. When the furniture repair and refinish was completed, John asked me to come to his shop and inspect the furniture.
When I saw the furniture my first word was WOW. They were beautiful - looked brand new. I did inspect them and am very happy with the work.
I gave them my Ok and the furniture was delivered back to my home in a few days.

The rear legs had fallen off my antique sewing table. It is a piece I found in a and quot;junqueand quot; shop in Jamestown, Rhode Island about 20 years ago. It was in sad shape so I refinished it and have enjoyed using it ever since. Recently when I opened a drawer the table fell over and I found it's rear legs had come off.
I located Furniture Rescue on-line. They said they were very busy but would be glad to fix my table if it could be fixed. They also warned me that they were really busy and it might take awhile to get it back.
I dropped it off at their shop on 5/23/13. They called and told me it was finished on 7/01/3.
They did a fantastic job! The rear legs are now very sturdy and they also polished the table so it looks very beautiful! I know it will give me many more years of service and enjoyment.

They were antiques and family heirlooms so I wanted them refinished to preserve them because they were damaged in the tornado. They just did refinishing and staining on them because they were badly water damaged. It seemed expensive, but worth it. It did take a long time to get the stuff back. They were busy, because it was right after the tornado.
