Great. It looks very good and they were very fast. They also finished and charged within the estimate range.

They did an excellent job at a great price in a short time. After this terrific job I would not consider anyone else for upholstery work. Although they specialize in automotive work, the furniture work was outstanding.

We have had an heirloom-quality chair in our family for generations. I had it reupholstered about 10 years ago by a shop in Davis. They did a respectable job and the chair looked nice but I never really liked the chair because it just wasn't comfortable....so there it sat, looking good but not so good for sitting on. Recently, we found Fine Line through an Angie's List search and took an old contour chair to them to get re-upholstered, and they did an outstanding job on it. (I wrote and posted a separate review for it.)

I was so impressed by the work that they did on that contour chair that I got the idea that I would take my nice looking but uncomfortable chair to them to have it redesigned to make it match the design of the contour chair and re-upholstered in the same leather. Victor said he and his crew could do it, so I dropped off the chair and its foot rest/ottoman.

It was done several days ahead of schedule. As soon as my wife and I saw the chair and ottoman, it was obvious that they had done a FABULOUS job! We were amazed at how they took a chair that looked so different from the contour chair and redesigned it to look the same. We are super pleased with the results. See the photos below.

Victor and his crew at Fine Line do very high quality work. Don't think that because they do a lot of autos and boats that they don't know how to do furniture or don't do very high quality work because they do. They are definitely people who take pride in the work that they do, which is so rare these days.

I found Fine Line Trim And Upholstery through an Angie's List search and even though it appeared that they did more automotive and boat upholstery than furniture, I sent them a message inquiring about an estimate to have the original upholstery on a 1950s era contour chair removed and re-uphostered with new leather. My message and subsequent messages were promptly answered by Victor, who appears to be either the owner or the manager of the shop.
When I dropped off the chair for an estimate, I could see that they do a lot of automobile and boat upholstery and mentioned it but Victor assured me that they do furniture and that they do excellent work. He quoted me a very reasonable price so I picked out the leather and left the chair with him.
He called me to let me know the chair was done way before I expected it. When I got there, I saw it and couldn't believe it. They did OUTSTANDING work. It looks amazing! I wish I had taken some photos prior to getting it re-uphostered for before-and-after photos.
My wife and I are thrilled with the work Victor's company did. In fact, we have another chair that we had re-upholstered at another shop a few years ago that we are going to have re-upholstered Fine Line Trim And Upholstery with the same leather. This other chair's upholstery is in excellent shape but we want it to match the fine work that was done on the contour chair.
After we get the other chair re-upholstered, we will find a shop to refinish the wood on both chairs.

I would use them again in the future.

I just purchased a new Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Pickup and since they are nearly impossible to find with leather seats, I searched for someone who would install leather as an aftermarket item and found Fine Line on Angie's List.  They ordered a kit and installed in one day a week later.  They did a fantastic job.  Nobody can tell that they are not factory installed leather seats.  Very professional.

Replaced the console with all new leather and managed to match the previous color. 'the end result looks amazing and looks better than the stock leather that was originally used.

They fixed it in one day and it looks new. Really happy with the price, quality, and responsiveness. The owner, Victor, always answers the phone personally. He talked me out of fixing the convertible top to my BMW because of the cost relative to the benefit. Speaks to his integrity and desire to create long term customers. I'll use them again and recommend them to others.R
