I got several bids for a kitchen remodel and when I met with Elite Wood Design, I was beyond impressed. This guy knows his craft. Every time he said he was going to call or email, he did. When he said he was going to start the job, he did and when he told me theyâ d be done in three weeks to the day, they were. They are extremely professional and Iâ ve never worked with a company that goes above and beyond. My kitchen is over a year old now and my custom cabinets are absolutely gorgeous. Iâ m so glad I didnâ t repaint those old, ugly oak cabinets. They also made me the most beautiful kitchen hood. I get so many compliments on my kitchen. Everything is top quality and I canâ t recommend them enough. As far as cost, they were right on a par with other contractors that I contacted. If youâ re looking for someone to do top quality work and craftsmanship, this is the place .

We had Elite do our kitchen remodel about 3 years ago. First of all, they brought the wrong cabinets doors (made differently than what had been specified) - so we had to wait for new cabinet doors to be constructed. When they arrived I immediately noticed that the cabinet doors vibrated when closing them owing to the fact that the shaker-style insets were done poorly and were not tight. Drawer pulls on two cabinets were done incorrectly meaning we had to have new drawer fronts. They also scratched the over-the-stove stainless hood during installation. Lastly, I waited this long to see how the cabinets have worn. The verdict - not very well since the clear urethane has already worn off most of the frequently used drawer fronts owing to the fact that a single very-thin coat was the only thing that was added. While the "crew" were generally punctual, it found them to be generally "in-a-hurry" and not good at communicating. Most of the install and fabrication staff were from Moldova - so English was not their strong suit. If you use them, you'll really need to stay on top of every step to see that it gets done correctly. I would NOT recommend them to anyone however.

Wonederful site?

We had a difficult time finding a carpenter that would call us back or even give us a bid. I probably called 10 different companies. This company came over when they said they would, gave us a bid on the spot. They also finished the work earlier than the amount of time we agreed upon, 4-6 weeks. Other companies were telling us they couldn't see us to give us a bid until fall! Others wouldn't call me back. This company came out and installed the new cabinet in one day and it's exactly as we had pictured.

We hired Elite to build and install a custom bookcase to math existing cabinetry in our home office. Everything about the process exceeded expectations: Dan responded quickly to my inquiry and provided a very reasonable estimate for construction and installation. Vadim came out to do final pre-build measurements and design adjustments, and despite a 6-8 week estimate for construction and installation, the bookcase was built and installed just 4 weeks later! It is absolutely stunning and a perfect match to our existing cabinets. the installers were highly courteous, professional and efficient, and the installation was flawless. I would highly recommend Elite to anyone looking for high-quality custom cabinetry.

The built in desks were beautiful and very functional. It is a pleasure to work in that space now.

Six people from EWD were involved with our kitchen remodel. Without qualification, all were on time, extremely pleasant, explained each step of the process and did excellent work.

They are in the middle of the job. Delivery of items will arrive sometime before mid Dec. So I need to wait and see. However, I am very impressed by the courtesy and their manner of doing business.

We hired this firm to build a custom dining breakfast nook hutch— because the estimator/salesperson Dan owned a company before and the quality and workmanship was second to none. Dan the estimator is extremely creative and has a good minds eye to help customers identify exactly what they are looking for. The workmanship of the product is excellent. There were details that we modified between the contracting appointment and initial deposit and the builder review and they were willing to accommodate all of our requests. The paint and the stain matches for our pre existing cabinets that they matched was dead on, the stain took a second attempt but there finishing employee was relentless in getting it exactly correct stopping by twice to get it perfect. The hutch/cabinet is beautiful, exactly what my wife wanted. Their quality is excellent they are extremely skilled and after looking at several other bids for our kitchen cabinets it has come to our realization that they are the best in the area. They did a fantastic job of communicating the progress and showing up and delivering on all of their promises.

I was so thrilled with my built in bookcases with dog crates in my family room, I called them to remodel my kitchen. I am thrilled with every aspect of the job, from the original design through the execution . The work both in their shop and in my home was excellent and the craftsmen were polite and all did a great job. I will definitely call them again.

Very time mannered, very clean and neat emplyees. Job was done on time, even faster then planed. Fast paist workers, know their job. After everything was installed and in place, they vacuumed the worked area, so it was pleaseing the eyes to see nice new cabinets and clean bathrooms floors where cabinets were installed.

Elite Wood Design is a 1st rate organization, from the salesman designer to the custom carpentry. Their work is superior, such quality craftsmanship. I would trust them with any important project .

I was very impressed with the sales man and his quote. He created a drawing that was very detailed based on my desire. It was exactly what I wanted and the color I needed. They just finished installing and I am very satisfied. They also created timelines that were very specific and they met them.

Within minutes of registering with Home Advisor, we got a call from Elite Wood Design. He came out the next day, drew up the design, and gave a quote on the spot. AMAZING! Be sure to define all the details of your project. Initially we did not define the size of the crown molding - they replaced it without a complaint. They had to make a couple of corrective visits, but in the end everything was finished to our liking. They are the most responsive contractor we've ever worked with.

I couldn't be more pleased by the quality of the work done by Dan and Vadim and their team! They built a custom-designed living-room unit, dining-room unit, and 2 vanities. EACH piece was incredibly well made (e.g., dove-tailed joints, gorgeous finishes, unique leather drawer pulls) and true to my relentlessly exacting requests. Plus they were incredibly patient and diligent in completing everything to perfection. My late husband built most of the furniture for our home in NY, so I know a little about furniture making -- and I know that there's no better company than Elite Wood Design.

Great honest guys, it was a small and difficult job, but Elite Wood Design did a great job working within all boundaries. Will hire them again. Also, the folks at Elite Wood Design own a general contracting company, we used them with all the woodwork that was getting done.
