Description of Work: Never finished work. Flooring installed and is coming up.

Description of Work: This was a COMPLETE kitchen remodel, studs out, and I prefer not to name the total cost of it. From a design standpoint, Ron was very easy to work with. Our kitchen turned out absolutely stunning when all was said and done. But there were a number of snafus along the way (mismeasurements, faulty communication) and a particularly frustrating incident toward the end (regarding timing of the appliance installation) that colored our estimation of Blue Valley's customer service. I credit a number of Ron's tradespeople, however, for a job well done.

Description of Work: Blue Valley Remodeling should not be in the business. They charge a premium price for low quality work. I paid $2,400 for job site supervision and there were consistent misses that demonstrated there was no job site supervision and I ended finding one problem after another that the general contractor, Ron Williams never caught. And there were obvious faults. An entry door was widened and it was noticeable wider and the top than the bottom, and the left side was lower than the right side. It looked hillbilly. I was able to talk directly to the person that did the work and while apologetic, he admitted he did not have the right shims and was in a hurry .. but did the job poorly anyway. Simple things like painting a living room. The painter walked away from the job site, cleaned up the job site and left a 2 foot square piece of the wall unpainted. The paint was also applied so thin you could see pencil marks from marking picture hanging locations on the wall before the paint. But the worst is the kitchen granite. DO NOT LET BLUE VALLEY DO YOUR KITCHEN GRANITE. The seams were so wide that the fabricator drew dots on the epoxy filling trying to match up to the granite pattern. Ron Williams stated that this is typical and that he had seen worse. In my constant examination of granite installations since that time, I have not once seen any seams that wide. A request to put a simple furniture grade ledge on a pony wall is another example. He slapped a piece of the composite flooring and tacked two thin pieces of wood to the side. And then he stood there and tried to defend it. A cub scout could have done a better job. I fired Blue Valley before they touched doing the staircase and the fireplace as I had no confidence in them whatsoever. I have since engaged another contractor, and he did a beautiful job without the consistent aggravation experienced with Blue Valley. Description of Work: Blue Valley installed hardwood floors for us a couple of years ago.

Description of Work: I didn't know where to turn but was referred to Ron Williams at Blue Valley Remodeling, Inc. (916-852-7711)We were out of state and had turned off the heat to conserve energy while away(not wise). A pipe burst and water had been spraying from the ceiling for quite some time before neighbors noticed. It was a mess! The repair work required that we remove all of the wet sheetrock, the cabinets were damaged beyond repair, the flooring, bathroom, everything but the Entry and the bedrooms needed work. Everything had to be taken out and then the whole place dried out. Essentially we had to re-build the entire interior. Our kitchen was updated with the new style of cabinets that have the full pull out shelves and soft closing doors. They put cost effective Granite Counters in Kitchen and Bath. Our new Kitchen makes us smile everyday. They turned our catastrophe into a blessing!
