The door was delayed due to storms in the south, but once they received the door, they rescheduled the installation timely.

I got three estimates.  This was the most expensive but it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about.  He is the only one that replaced the rails as well.  It didn't cost that much more.  The opener, chain and all were not replaced.  It runs much more quietly and smoothly than ever before.  The day of installation a polite and professional young man took the old one down and put up the new one in half a day.  He cleaned up and hauled off the old door.
I was impressed with their work, their knowledge and thoroughness.  The door looks and works great.  They also fixed the problem that caused the door to fail to begin with.

It was good!  First of all, the folks were prompt, and they were very courteous.  They basically made the process very easy.  Their price was good.  I would not say it was excellent but it was good.

This company did an excellent job.  Arrived when they said they would, completed the job promptly, and charged a fair price.

We were impressed with the knowledge they had and the speed with which they resolved our issue. They also lubricated another smaller garage door although we were not having problems with it.
We were very pleased that Rick and Murphy could come the same day (in the afternoon) after I called their office in the morning.  We had stormy weather this day but they were very punctual. Once they diagnosed the problem, they performed the necessary adjustment to our door and lubricated all its parts.  Everything was done in about 15-20 minutes.  The 10% discount for Angies List customers was also nice to have.
If we ever need garage door-related services again, I would not hesitate to call them.

Technician arrived on time, went right to work.  Completed job in 10 minutes while I waited (this is a rental property so I had to pay rather than my tenant).  Replaced both torsion springs, lubricated and tested door operation. Cleaned up and removed all material including the broken spring.

Everything was done very well, except for the last bit. The door came with two sets of decorative hinges and door handles. We only wanted one set installed, which I explained to them. We had a diagram and I went over it clearly with one of the two installers. Ultimately, he installed the two sets of hardware. Since there screw holes were made, this can’t really be reversed.  I called them back the following day, and the manager called me back. It’s been two weeks, and now we’ll just live with it. We like the door and the door opener and the door is under warranty, too.

Called Action Door at 3:30pm on 3/2/2012 (a Friday), they had a service tech at the property at midday on 3/5/2012 (Monday).  Tech was on time and had repair completed in less than 1 hour.  I have used this company in the past and they have always been prompt and reliable. Received a 10% discount using Angie's List printable coupon.

The installer was quick, efficient and courteous.  After the door was up he programmed and tested the remotes and hauled off the old door and opener.  I dealt with Bill and Carol by phone and email a few times before and after the install and they were responsive to all my requests.  After the install I had a problem with an unacceptably short range with the remotes and after conferring with Chamberlain directly he sent a man out to troubleshoot and make some adjustments to the antenna.  While their price was not the lowest of the comparable quotes I got, the quality and workmanship was excellent, the followup service was commendable AND they threw in a free keyless entry keypad.  I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again myself.

Bill and his crew were on time, went right to work and stayed on the job till done. about 8 hrs.
